The room was very dark in the morning when room light was not on and not much light by table. Could have done with a fridge.

The garden had awful plastic plants which seemed at odds with the effort put in with the decor, and the small pond seemed very neglected. The bedroom tap only ran to lukewarm water, it didnt get cold, the hotel did apologise for that and were going to look into the cause. It felt a bit pricey for the size of the room (a family room with a fold down sofa bed) with no breakfast included.

Superb welcome and continued service from the main host who was so kind so our young children. Lovely decor throughout the hotel and a great restaurant both for dinner and breakfast.

The room decor was dark and the room felt “tired” As we walked the corridor to our room (2 I think) there was sometimes a strange smell

We had a great time and hope to visit again as soon as we can.

The manager ensured that we felt comfortable, warm and welcome from our first steps into the Pine Martin. Kind, proficient, and efficient service characterised our stay. Our room (family of four) was spotlessly clean and spacious. We had dinner in the pub and everyone loved their meal. I would like to specifically thank the manager for his kindness and the staff for an excellent experience!

Not didn't like. The room was very comfortable, paintwork was tired the building itself is old (beautiful) and would like to see the history of it not just about the business.

The restaurant was lovely, with delicious food. Staff were great too. We had an evening meal and a breakfast. Recommend this even if you are not staying.

People with dogs not keeping them close to them or in the gardens not keeping an eye on them so they can just come up to others.

The staff are very friendly and helpful the breakfast was delicious.The rooms are spotless,bed was comfy.The hotel is in a great place as we walked into town.

Interior is looking tired. Chair seat cushions in the dining room were stained. The carpet in our room looked liked it needed cleaning. The fish pond in the garden looked a mess instead of being an attractive feature.

Excellent receptionist when we arrived and friendly staff. Great location to visit RHS Harlow Carr. Good free parking. Comfortable bed. Looks impressive from outside. Good bathroom, but the silicone around the bottom on the shower enclosure had patches of black mould.

I think the place needs a bit of maintenance, electrical short outs. But all accommodated and overcome.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast had a limited menu having no fresh fruit available or pastries.

Breakfast, we had breakfast included with the room, in which case there seemed to be a choice of either a cooked breakfast menu or a cereal menu. I would have liked cereals as part of my breakfast, but as the choice was very limited I didn't bother to find out if my understanding was correct.

Dinner was very good, great food reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Plenty of car parking.

The drain in the shower was slow to train and almost overflowed. Also at breakfast water leaked through the ceiling which was slightly off putting.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Also the food was very delicious and there were plenty of options at breakfast and dinner!

lovely surroundings and staff went extra mile to make sure you had what you needed. Dinner and breakfast excellent and room large. Would definitely recommend to others and will be returning especially as so close to RHS Harlow Carr.
