The restaurant area is a little basic and not conducive to a special occasion. When booking a table on the website it said tables were not available after 7.30pm so most of my team ended up eating elsewhere. We then found out that food was actually served until 9pm. Breakfast was limited. Purely the full English. But very reasonable at £6.95 per adult. The chef did his best to keep the food coming but when I visited the buffet there was only 1 egg available, beans and mushrooms. No bacon nor sausage. The kids in our party wanted the waffles but these had run out. My shower ran cold. Hot water had gone off the night before due to power cut. They had forgotten to turn it back on Staff were pleasant but I did feel they were struggling to serve us all. They seemed a little overwhelmed.

I booked 28 rooms as we were working at the NEC so the hotels location was in easy reach and much more reasonable in price than the local NEC hotels The rooms had recently been refurbished and were clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel. The menu is huge and the food quality was good. Two of my colleagues had the carvery and said it was very tasty.

Shower doors were not on runners properly so didn't close properly and was worried they might fall off. Booked well in advance and asked for a double bed but got two singles

Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and the all you can eat breakfast especially for the price was excellent. Will definitely return If I have to stay in the area again.

Staff were very friendly. I had checked in on-line so getting our room key was quick. Room was lovely and clean with just what you need and bed was very comfy. Breakfast was lovely and tasty. 2nd time we have stopped here and will definitely recommend.

The shower door kept falling off and I was informed by another guest that theirs did too. This was quite frightening whilst in the shower and maybe dangerous for a child or frail person. Staff said they were aware of the problem and were waiting to get the issue solved. Hope this gets done then we can rate 10/10 ☺️

The evening meal was excellent value for money. We purchased the 3 course offer and the food was top dollar. The staff were friendly and though it was busy the food was quick hot and fresh. Breakfast was cooked to perfection so no negatives at all.

Despite an error in the initial booking, the manager was able to change us to a double room instead of a twin which we had been mistakenly put in. Free parking was great and the World Resort Arena was only a 15 minute taxi journey away

The access carrying two bags was awkward up three flights of narrow stairs. It would certainly be a challenge for people with any sort of mobility issues. I arrived at 6pm and was going to eat in the restaurant but the carvery looked as if it had been out for a few hours so decided to eat locally. A member of staff gave a very good recommendation for a local Indian restaurant 50 yards up the street. Quite a few people were standing around the main entrance smoking with the smoke drifting into the restaurant area.

The room was clean and comfortable with a reasonable shower. Parking at the rear of the hotel was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was OK but I've had better in Premier Inns.
