This is a lovely quiet hotel on the outskirts of Scotland away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast menu was varied and really delicious. The pub next door excudes Scottish charm and its location next to the Inn meant you could have a lovely meal or a drink at the bar whenever you feel like.

We had a fantastic stay that exceeded all expectations. The accommodation is absolutely perfectly placed, the staff were warm and welcoming and our room was quiet and comfortable. Our dining experience was also brilliant, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The meal was generous and delicious. In short we cannot wait to stay again.

Size of room, wetroom facilities, disability access was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The, restaurant and bar next door, also with very nice staff, had good food and nice atmosphere.

We had a family room with a large king-sized bed and sofa bed. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Overall the decor looked modern. Breakfast was very reasonable and is served at the Inn next door. There is a fast EV charging station in the car park for Dobbies in the same complex. The hotel is situated around 5 miles outside of Edinburgh City Centre, accessible by car in around 20-25 minutes (taxi around £20).

The layout of the room reflected some of the more upmarket hotels we occasionally stay in. Being able to park directly outside was appreciated. Very handy for access to Edinburgh or beyond.

United KingdomThe location when driving up to the property is off-putting, as it is located near an industrial estate and feels like it is in a service station. This is not apparent from the marketing photos (unsurprisingly!). Don’t let this put you off however if you are looking for a comfortable night’s stay at a fair price. We will used it just for a one night stopover to break our journey home and it was perfect for that.
The pub is modern, well maintained and finished and very comfortable (if a little generic in feel). Plenty of space at the tables. The food was standard pub fare and was great quality, fairly priced and very well executed.The service was excellent. The cooked breakfast was also excellent. The hotel rooms are lovely for the price - spacious, modern, well decorated and spotlessly clean. The shower room was generously sized and the shower was excellent. Bed was large and comfortable, although mattress was very firm, which may not suit all tastes. Entertainment package on the TV was very limited.
