Unfortunately, the ferry was not running (needing repair), so it meant leaving the car on the other side or taking a long detour (though that was amazing to do).

Perfect place for a quiet time, everyone made me feel welcome, and the food was great. A special treat was the common room, very cozy and lots of games.

Nothing negative to say about this property, will be even better when the Corran ferry starts back up again!

Nice quiet location for a leisurely break. Although furnishings a bit dated, everything was spotlessly clean. Room was checked everyday with fresh towels too. Food was good and staff very welcoming and friendly.

Arrived late, just after 9 and chef stayed so we could get something to eat. Great location. Ferry is down but the ferry for foot passengers is running. So you can park your car and get there that way. Takes a couple of minutes.

The inn is a bit dated, but still comfortable. The only oddity we faced is that when we initially got into our room the heat was on all the way up, and it felt like a sauna. We stayed in late august, when the weather was beautiful. Not sure why it was all the way up! But we turned it off and opened the windows to balance it out.

Had a nice stay at the Inn at Ardgour. The room was perfect for us, the beds comfy, and most importantly for us the shower had GREAT water pressure and the water was nice and hot. After we’d been staying in a couple places with terrible water pressure and lukewarm water, it felt like a godsend. The restaurant in the inn had great food and the servers were excellent. The common space was really nice as well, with a ton of games that we had fun with. The location was gorgeous. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. We went on a Friday and learned the brewery up the road was open, but we were a bit too exhausted. Next time!

    really nothing

location a bit secluded and off the centre of Fort William but well worth it. Cozy ambience, rustic building with what feels like and probably has a lot of history. So don‘t expect a super fancy modern environment! It has good food, good beers and lovely staff!

With the ferry not running it is a long drive on a windy, single lane road to get there. Replace this with a ten minute ferry ride and the visit would have been perfect.

Lovely old world inn. Beautiful loch side location. Excellent breakfast, good food for dinner in a friendly bar.

Quiet, relaxing, incredibly welcoming and kind village and inn. Food was excellent too! What a gem we found and are so glad we did! Note the ferry to cross the loch is still down so it took an extra hour to arrive but the drive through the rural village and loch view at sunset is totally worth it. No regrets! Accommodations are delightfully simple and the bed/pillows were SO COMFY! The showers are also perfectly hot. :) If you are looking to escape the bustle of busy highland traffic and crowds, this is THE PLACE TO BE. Luke and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier and the new friends we made at the local brewery were so welcoming. Pet friendly too!
