From the moment I reached out with a few queries, Cleony was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered promptly. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her guests made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. The highlight of the stay was definitely the hot tub, which offered breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Soaking in the warm water while gazing out at the stunning landscape was pure bliss! It's clear that Cleony takes great pride in providing an exceptional experience for her guests, and it truly shows in every aspect of the stay. I can't wait to return!

I loved the location, it’s in the middle of a farmers field with views of hills and greenery for miles. It is silent, the best accommodation I have been for a relaxing weekend. I could have stayed for a week plus.

Super cozy shepherds hut with amazing views!! Spent every evening relaxing in the hot tub which was perfect. Lovely touches such as the host leaving fudge from a local shop which was divine and an anniversary banner and bottle in the fridge. Location is lovely and secluded yet only around a 10 minute drive from Penrith town. We enjoyed everything about our stay

The hottub wasn't heating up properly, only one of the jets were working so we ended up getting luke warm water.

Not alot to dislike, the hot tub took a while to heat up but we discovered that using dry logs from the barn created a better fire for the hot tub. Flies were annoying but inevitable in summer and fly traps were provided.

A perfect mixture of open,peaceful space whilst providing privacy too. Extremely clean throughout and excellent facilities, high quality furnishings,cutlery and attention to detail made it extra special. Amazing view from the hut and clear instructions for everything. Well organised booking and communication.

Absolutely nothing to dislike about this place

Lovely place great little gem very very clean the owners had thought of everything from a welcoming bottle of Prosecco in fridge to treats for our dog Blake and a very nice fudge for ourselves plenty of tea bags and coffee and sugar plates were very clean toaster and kettle microwave and fridge they have honestly thought of everything well done and highly recommended and the log fired hot tub was brilliant

The only thing that was a bit of a problem over the first couple of days was flies, due to the heat, which was unavoidable. Our dog gets freaked out by flies so we didn’t sleep much on the first night but the owner Cleone was so, so helpful, she helped us get rid of them. Perhaps a fly zapper/light would be a good addition for summer months.

The views were stunning and the hut was so comfortable. Really easy to access, the bbq and hot tub were amazing. Lovely bottle of Prosecco in the fridge too, thank you! Great that dogs can come along too. The owner Cleone was super helpful and lovely. Great location also for travelling all around the lakes!

Only downside was the amount of flies couldn't leave windows or doors open as the hut would get filled with them meaning with nice weather the hut was really warm

Was given the wrong code for the key safe, which was a bit annoying on arrival, but quickly sorted. As no dining table as such, could have done with another tray, but not a big issue.

Lovely peaceful location with lovely views. 2 Huts positioned so you still get privacy. Nice field for our dog (being mindful of occupants of other hut). Nice walk just up the road. As we were told, it took a couple of hours the first night for the wood fire to heat the hot tub. On the second night, it got hot quicker (in fact, it was too hot, and we had to add some cold water!). Comfortable bed and good shower, even had a hairdyer. 2 hobs and microwave were fine for our short stay.
