Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I stayed in a pod and it was excellent. It was well equipped, clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner I had was also excellent. 5 stars!

This is a historic house and had many original features. The rooms were very comfortable in a slightly dated way. The roll top baths were great.

United KingdomWe noticed a couple fixtures needed small repairs, but that didn’t impact our stay at all. Dining and breakfast experiences were acceptable, but didn’t quite measure up to the elegance and sophistication of the hotel. We would have liked more creative menu options, as menu was actually quite on the casual side. We could have fish & chips anywhere. But, food was prepared properly and timely.
Historic and lovely, and interesting variety rooms and design. The Alloway Suite was very pretty, spacious and comfortable with two small sofas. We liked having two separate sinks. The shower was lovely.

We had a very enjoyable 4night stay. Thanks to the hotel manager for allocating a private room to host our 75birthday dinner celebration for my SIL and comfortably accommodating my BIL in a wheelchair. Everything was perfect for the occasion. Our spacious room was within the hotel and very comfortable. We enjoyed bar, restaurant and breakfast meals. Thanks to all staff who provide the very friendly efficient service which made us feel very welcome. We will happily return on our family visits.

Room was exceptional, huge bathroom, nice and warm, lovely views. With the property off the main road there was no traffic noise which is a huge bonus and plenty of free parking. Wish we had being staying for more than one night.

It's a perfectly located pod, ideal for a short stay. It was nice and cozy inside and there was a small sink, a kettle, some tea and coffee, so you can be quite self-sufficient. Only a short distance from places packed with attractions, like Stirling or Falkirk.
