Excellent hotel. Tastefully decorated and rooms had tall ceilings so they felt spacious. Nespresso coffee machine and TV with chrome cast made the rainy weather more bearable! Breakfast was lovely and there’s a long stay car park right across the street for £3.20. Would stay here again.

We prefer a buffet style breakfast where you can choose what you can put on your plate rather than the guesswork involved in selectin from a menu and then being presented with a plate you don't really fancy. We asked to check in three hours early to change for a wedding and were charged £10 an hour even though we only spent forty minutes in the room - a little mean. And although it stated 'mini bar' on Booking, there was in fact none, odd for a 'luxury' hotel of this supposed calibre.

I like the old building in which the hotel was located. The decor throughout was exotic with its orange and blue oriental theme. The suite was comfortable and spacious. Huge bed was the centerpiece of the room.

The staff were the very, very best!! Owner...well not so much.Hmmm! The meals were over priced! The bed was like heaven! All the stairs were desparate...to much for anyone over 50 years old... The room, with its babbling Brook...lovely, roomy and very quiet & clean. Location....superb! Parking....mid range...plus there is a fee.... Cheers, James

Room and very compact bathroom were quite small and felt a bit cramped and so we felt reasonably expensive for what you get. But it was still a great place for a night away without the children. The restaurant is amazing, and wish we'd known a bit more about the theatre next door before we went (this could be more of a selling point for the hotel!).

Room nicely decorated. Short walk into town. Had dinner at associated restaurant 'Teatro' which was expensive and a real treat, but lovely. Communal rooms which we stumbled across were lovely and great for a quiet read - would have been nice to get a coffee too etc, however it was sometimes quite hard to find someone on reception / around. Staff we did speak to were pleasant however. Food was wonderful.

Only downside was that the restaurant food was very expensive for the quality of the food, for a 2 course meal for two and two drinks, it cost £96 which we thought was steep. Other than that, we had a wonderful time

This hotel was amazing, such a quirky place. Decor was amazing. Room was really good too. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We partically liked the personal touch of taking us to our room when we first arrived. Also a table was reserved for us in the bar as a kind gesture after we had asked about the entertainment whilst we were having a meal In the restaurant. Entertainment was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit here, and will definitely go back 😊

Due to the age of the building, you do hear late arrivals coming back, but that was only a small issue.

The room was small which made it hard to get ready in. Parking was off-site and cost extra.

Room was cosy and well decorated. Breakfast was lovely. Little touches - tea, coffee, fresh milk and water were great. Loved the ritual products in the bathroom and the mini Easter eggs were a lovely touch. Extra shutters across the windows meant the room was nice and quiet.

Very friendly staff, our room was amazing, the Carling suite had a separate lounge which we used as a bedroom for our toddler. The restaurant and piano bar were lovely and the live music made it extra special.

I stayed in the room on the top floor so it was a bit cold. Although I raised the temperature on the thermostat, it took long time to get to the comfortable temperature. It wasn’t a huge problem since already the end of March, though.

I loved the quirky and colourful decor, convenient location (1 min from the car park / National Express bus stop. Short (10 min) walk from the town centre), and friendly staff. It’s also next to the Barn Theatre. If I have a chance to come back to Cirencester in future I will certainly stay here again.
