The patio doors and some of the windows did not look clean probably from the outside. The evening menu did not change. Having to ask for bottled water and complementary (lovely) biscuits to be left by the cleaner. The outdoor pool not opening until midday. I would have thought that a deluxe room should have a fridge.

Our Deluxe room was great. The views, space, wardrobe, and draw space were perfect. The breakfast was very good with a plethora of hot or cold choices. Helpful staff to support your needs in the restaurant. Although a tired looking hotel in places we loved the older decor.

I had to ask 3 times for bathrobes that should have been there on arrival. The whole building is a little tired. Paintwork peeling, broken screens etc.

The food was fabulous. The staff were very attentive especially Pasha, she is truly an asset to the team.

I had a sea-view bedroom at garden level with a terrace and sun loungers and an absolutely wonderful view. The bedding, too, was extremely comfortable. The breakfast on offer was superb.

Food, as in previous years, to me is an area for improvement. Choice at breakfast is incredible but quality of cooked breakfast is disappointing to the point where I skipped it for a lie-in a few times. Bar menu is limited and not great quality (lukewarm soup) and restaurant food also mixed quality for me. Shame that the outdoor pool was open so little this year, despite beautiful warm weather in mid-late September.

Location is perfect, my 6th visit! View from balcony never disappoints and very handy to walk down to the harbour. My bed was very comfortable (it outweighed breakfast on some mornings). Possibly slightly outdated furnishings but I prefer this to ultra-modern because very comfortable. Staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. I asked for a specific room again and they delivered - thank you!

We had an evening meal in the hotel. This was good but service very slow. Breakfast good but someone needs to be managing things better - fruit ran out each day, there were no plates at times and scrambled egg was variable (bit lumpy one day). However these are small issues. What was really upsetting (and not the hotel's fault) was the poor behaviour and noise from our upstairs neighbours on two of the nights we stayed. They were thumping and crashing around for hours making it iimpossible to sleep. The hotel staff did intervene to help.

Our room was spacious and comfortable good beds and a bathroom with a bath! The TV was a good size and there were comfortable seats. The Breakfast was good and the seating area had lovely views.

We opted for a deluxe room with a sea view and a balcony. Very disappointed in the balcony furniture, would have expected more comfortable chairs or sun loungers and a TABLE to rest a book or drinks on. Bathroom OK but I hate shower curtains !! Also the bathroom should have had a proper shaving mirror and I would have thought that a deluxe room should have a fridge ?

The location of the room was excellent with a beautiful view from the balcony. The choice of food for breakfast was excellent and the cooked food was hot. There was a relaxed atmosphere throughout and we found any staff who we dealt with helpful and polite.

There was no refrigerator in the room. So you couldn’t really buy your own drinks and keep them cool.

We had a room with a Seaview and to wake up to that every morning was fantastic. The room was nice and spacious with a good size balcony. Plenty of choice at breakfast and helpful waiting staff.

We have a balcony room and would appreciate a small table to go with the chairs for drinks, book etc. I would prefer a shower to a bath but there are plenty of grab rails to assist your climb in & out of the bath. Not all rooms have access without some steps which is awkward with luggage (though you can get your bags delivered/collected to/from your room).

Breakfast is amazing with lots of choice, luckily over the days we were there we could try most of it. Location is only marred by the steep hill if walking back up from town but the view over the gardens to the sea without any interruption (no road or path) is incredible. It never disappoints and we’ve stayed there lots of times. The beds are very comfortable with mattress toppers to ensure a great night, the pillows are also great but they will change them for a different type if you prefer. I’m already looking forward to our next visit and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Amasing vistas from the hotel balcony, excellent choice of food for breakfast. Great location, just be wary as the hotel it at the top of the hill, we hired a mobility scooter for my father as he finds it hard to walk.
