Nothing loved hotel* however booked an afternoon tea with reception as it was our anniversary to be delivered to the room & had to chase it up twice as communication from bar wasn't great.

Beautiful seafacing room overlooking bay also lovely outdoor heated pool & terrace area. Walking distance to town & harbour.

Car parking extortionate! So parked just down the hill for free! The patio door was restricted as some work being done so couldn't use the balcony and the room was boiling hot with the sun on it and no means to open enough.

Great views across the bay, the fish and chips hmmm tiny fish and rock hard tripple cooked!

The hotel was a little tired in places but not to the detriment of our stay !

Great view over the bay. The room was large enough for two and the staff were polite and attentive. Great choice of breakfast and close to the marina and restaurants. The hotel car park was also convenient for a small daily fee !

Room service was hard to get hold of

The hotel location is perfect and our rooms all had beautiful views around the bay. The rooms were clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with so much choice. Cooked food was hot and replenished frequently . The staff were lovely and definitely helped make our daughters 21st birthday special.

Room key kept failing, it was not held near anything magnetic. No lift access to our room and porter not offered to assist with bags. Most staff were very helpful, one or two not so much.

No one told us we could eat in the bar as well as the restaurant, and the service was a bit slow, but food was good .

The inside pool and changing rooms were not that clean and quite dated.

The room had the most magnificent view of the sailing racing that we had travelled down to do. So we could view the weather in the mornings and I could relax in the room watching the racing. It was also very large room with an interconnecting door to our children’s room. We all had so much space for all our sailing kit and the warm sunning balcony to dry wetsuits. Perfect!

There were a couple of meals on the evening menu which turned out to be unavailable which was a little disappointing but the substitutes were still good.

The sea view room was brilliant and being able to sit out on the balcony overlooking the marina was perfect. Really relaxing and we had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was really good with everything you would expect and cooked perfectly. Staff were brilliant. We will be returning.

Nothing but maybe some music in the lounge on a weekend would be good as it was very quiet in the evening

Staff were adequate, reception staff good. Generally around the hotel staff didn’t feel very welcoming. Did the job though so no complaints.

Our room was a little bit dated but it didn't really bother us as only there for one night. We are returning in July for 4 nights so hoping for a better room.

Food was great, beautiful views, comfortable bed, staff friendly and helpful. Great location to watch the Air Show.
