Beautiful rooms, lovely colour scheme , relaxing, nice high ceilings., and cornice, good location , 20 mins walk to Royal Mile, nice and quiet by night, beds very comfy

Absolutely amazing location , right in a thriving area of Edinburgh. Lots of shops & restaurants, about a 15 minute walk to the castle Taxis are easy to get hold of via Uber and so cheap to travel around in. The Royal Yacht was £10 from the accommodation The flat itself has everything you need , decent Wi-Fi and clean. As in previous reviews the showers are a little weak in terms of pressure but always hot if need be Ivy kindly let us leave our bags whilst we had a morning adventure before heading to the airport Brilliant x

The showers were very bad – no pressure and either very hot or very cold, only bad thing I would have to say about it, otherwise everything else was perfect.

Lovely stay! Ivy was very helpful from the start, from keeping us up to date with directions to all the information we needed & even sorted us early check in (as we were arriving in Edinburgh early morning) The apartment is really nice and spacious, the two bedrooms are lovely with both having ensuites, beds are comfy. The living room is really nice and cosy, with all the little touches Ivy does, made the place feel really homey, lovely flowers in hallway on arrival. The kitchen is good, with having everything you need. It’s a good location good 20 mins walk from centre, it’s a nice walk too. We really enjoyed our stay!

Could do with freshening up the decor, especially the woodwork such as skirting boards. There was also a smell of fried food that lingered in the apartment and was quite off putting. The showers had a high step into them which could be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Comfortable double ensuite bedrooms.All rooms comfortably warm and lots of hot water. Kitchen adequately fitted with most things available. Location good 20 mins walk from centre with close bus stops

The step up into the shower in the back bedroom could be problematic for some.

A small and bijou apartment nicely furnished and decorated with everything we needed for a short stay. The initial walk from the station with cases was challenging but otherwise it wasn’t a problem. Its proximity to a couple of restaurants we wanted to visit was a bonus.

Some deep cleaning, removal of mouldy silicone and a freshen up. Concerned about lack of working smoke detectors, big steps into showers so one of our party couldn’t use them and poor water pressure from the shower, which you probably can’t resolve as it depends on the electrical set up. Hot water out of taps was too hot and could scald. Also the lack of a TV aerial. But none of these things spoilt our stay and Ivy was lovely.

The shower was very bad - either very hot or very cold - and the bed was not a single mattress but was two twin beds in a single source sheet, which was not the most comfortable.

Great location, walking distance to Edinburgh old town. The house was very warm and cosy, heating is very good which was essential for the cold winter in Scotland. Hosts were accommodating and let us check-in early and leave our bags late on our check-out day. Really recommend. :)

Parking, cost a lot to park and find a space near property. Showers are not very powerful and go from very hot to very cold. Very noisy in the evenings.

safe key hard to open and close. The position was unassailable. We are pensioners and had to get down on the pavement to reach it. This is not good when you have arthritis. The whole experience was painful and embarrassing. The heater in the lounge didn't work so it was cold an uncomfortable to sit in. Thankfully the heater in the bedroom was working. There was no milk for drinks even though there was tea/coffee etc. The tap on the kitchen sink was loose making it difficult to turn on and off. map of the city would have been useful along with instructions on how to use tv, heating, etc. We did enjoy our stay and Edinburgh city. The issues mentioned could be easily resolved for future guests.
