No hand towels provided because of the "company policy", no mini-bar or use of the fridge because of the "company policy". Sometimes I wandered if the guests were not against the "company policy". Most of the staff did not seem to care much.

A lack of attention to detail when the rooms were service. No power points next to the bed. Breakfast was over priced. Bathroom was very small.

Comfortable beds. The lifts worked. Comfy, cosy lounge. Easy check out. Reasonable price for room. The shower was very good.

They need to change the pillows , our room needed some maintenance, door to the bathroom trip hazard. Day staff lovely some night male staff not so nice. Water in cans at the bar , both my party and other parties l heard talking would prefer bottled water.

No do not disturb tags for room doors, reported a blocked bathroom sink they came to the room while we were out to fix it but all they did was remove the plug so you could not fill the sink to wash anymore,not confident with lifts as they made noises and was worried they were going to breakdown.

Only minor complaint is that the curtain didn't close all the way leaving a tiny gap where light would shine through but it wasn't like a crazy amount, so nothing that bothered us that much. The lobby was a bit loud in the evening with some guests hanging out there drunk and nobody said anything to them. Luckily we couldn't hear them up in our room when we went to bed. The bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable ones or at least not as comfortable as we hoped.

Fast check in and check out. Staff was super friendly. Clean and spacious room. Its location is perfect as it's less than 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

The car park on our stay seemed to be mostly occupied by self-centred individuals with minimal spatial awareness. The two electric car charging spaces were unusable due to non-electric cars taking up the spaces. Other cars had been dumped over lines etc or parked in disabled spaces. Fortunately there is council parking nearby. The layout of the hotel is odd, our room was on a higher floor but it was necessary to go up in the lift and then down some narrow stairs to reach it. Fixtures in the room were dated, with several of the fluorescent lights non-operative. The room itself was tired, with stains on the walls, but it was sufficient for a short break

Central location with some great restaurants nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Good quality breakfast with a decent variety of choices.

Not hotels fault, the guests next door were ridiculously loud and had to knock to tell them to calm it down at 11.30.

Easy to find and everything we needed on site. Appreciated night porter helping out with an umbrella early hours when heading out for a bit during the rain
