Lovely bed , clean room Extra coffee etc available at Reception if you needed them. Very friendly courteous staff. The lovely lady in Reception found my ring I had lost and kept it in a safe place until I collected it.

Carpet stained but as we had a dog it wasn't a problem Loo seat a bit loose & loo paper a long way from seat. Other guests not quiet during night but not hotels fault.

Ground floor room as we have difficulty upstairs & have a dog. Lovely & warm. Car park convenient. Well positioned in village for catering.

Worn out carpets. Old tatty furniture. Shower just stopped working when it was needed! Noisy other guests, but that's not the hotel's fault...

Comfy, clean beds. Very nice bathroom with a bath. Lift. Tea/coffee. Good location for onward travel and the NEC. Comparatively cheap to stay.

Perfect for us to stop over as our family live close by. Very clean and reasonably priced. The charge for our dog was amazing so much cheaper than most places. We always cover the carpets to cut down on dog hairs and also the edges of the bed incase he rubs against it. We appreciate your charges and want to repay that by doing this.

The rooms really do need refurbishment but then the cost of the rooms might well increase. Balancing cost against value the only minor issue I can think of is that I would have liked a bath mat for the bathroom. Probably worth saying that this is a hotel very much for you to put down your head at night, not as somewhere to enjoy as a leisure destination in its own right.

This is a budget hotel and it has seen better days. However, the reception staff were all friendly and helpful and the desk was manned at all times. The rooms have keys rather than electronic swipe cards so no issues with getting into the room! The room was large if a little empty and the bed was comfortable. There were mirrors and power points where you needed them. The TV had a straightforward remote control, the shower and bath were easy to use and the lift was working! The breakfast was adequate for the price and there were tea and coffee options in the room. Most impressive was the free parking on site which is a rare facility these days! All in all I think this little hotel was excellent value for money 😀

Arriving quite late in the evening the lady on reception was fantastic. Gave me advice on local facilities to get food etc. She was very welcoming and helpful, I could not of wished for better customer service. She was wonderful.

Only fault I could find was the toilet roll holder was at the other side of the sink so was too far for my wee girl to reach. Other than that easy fix it was great!

Staff were lovely. We were given a ground floor room which was ideal for the dogs.

There was a very noisy pub nxt door and the chippy on the corner was closed by 10pm.

The lift worked, the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was better than expected, car park was large enough to park my hire van,and the staff were very helpful and friendly. All in all it was a good stay.

Waiting for a receptionist to call for over an hour to check in.was only person on site. Not good 😐. She was fine but being disabled I was not satisfied with the hotel. Surely it needs two at least for health and safety issues. So not best pleased. All is got was sorry. Not enough. .

Cleanliness in the bathroom could have been better, there was toothpaste spray around the mirror. Car parking was alright, but there were too few disabled parking bays, but the car park was not very big and was shared with a pub, not perfect.

Breakfast was very good, plenty of variety and sufficient to last until lunchtime. The room and in particular, the bed was fine, everything I needed for a one night stay.
