To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Malaysia- My biggest gripe is that there was no cardkey security to operate the lifts, meaning anyone could come up to the floors where guests are staying, which is a safety concern - Lifts operate very slowly - There wasn't hot water on the first night, but this might be due to an issue with the entire area rather than the hotel itself
- The location is excellent, especially with the Elizabeth line going into the more central locations in London and to/from Heathrow - Since the hotel's located at Westfield, there's a lot of food and shopping right at the doorsteps if you don't feel like heading out further

United KingdomPrefer a bit of natural ventilation but window was locked closed (on 8th floor, so understand, but the window could easily have opening limiters). Air con was too loud to sleep so room got a little warm during the night.
Fantastic location for the Olympic Park area (including ABBA Voyage) and Westfield shopping centre. Excellent room with top quality bed, bedding, pillows and bed linen. Nice touch to provide wine glasses and bottle opener. Great quality tea and coffee. Breakfast was superb. 5 mins walk from Stratford train & underground station.

United KingdomThey had a zodiac sign cocktail menu printed but the waiting staff didn’t realise it wasn’t available so after ordering and looking forward to they came back to tell us it was unavailable.
Clean and modern, ideally located close to Stratford station and the Abba stadium which was the purpose of our visit. The food was excellent and served fast too, nice lounge style bar.

United KingdomNo drawers or clothes shelves - we had to leave most of our clothes in our cases. An inability to make a decent espresso coffee. On our first night we ordered a flat white, an espresso and a brandy. The flat white was fine, the single espresso was served in a large cup. It was lukewarm an horrible. The brandy never came. The second night we tried again. This time the espresso came in the correct cup but was tepid. When I complained about this they brought me a boiling hot replacement which is obviously bad for the coffee - it was revolting!
