There is no way on Gods earth there is any justification in the room rate. Overall this is not a very special hotel and the charge was ludicrous. Breakfast was congealed and not great. One doesn't expect to find the shampoo padlocked to the wall when paying this much and I was disappointed there was no walk in shower just a bath and shower head.

Upon check in I wasn’t told when check out would be. I ended up looking on the website. There wasn’t enough toiletries in the room. There was a bath but no bubble bath and 2 guests stayed but only one robe in the wardrobe. The towels smelt fusty. Also outside the hotel, there were cars just parked wherever and it was a little dangerous for pedestrians.

Breakfast was excellent. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean. Location was great.

Very limited parking at the hotel. Some areas of the hotel are looking tired (room furniture, spa area, etc)

We paid for club room with access plus a room which didn’t have access we were put on the same floor but couldn’t access club room it was too late to do anything that evening do reported to desk in the morning.

The room was very clean and the facilities are great however the breakfast is definitely not worth the price . I have visited several times and the breakfast has been poor. The scrambled egg is very runny there is not enough choice for the cost . I have stayed elsewhere with cheaper breakfast better choice. Hashbrowns and omelette need to be on the menu. If I am expected to pay twenty five pound per head I expect a variety of foods

Service at the bar are was slow. Didn’t have any body lotion in the bathrooms. Breakfast or club upgrade were expensive considering other nearby comoeting hotels include this in price.

I didn’t really like What we got for the price, room wise. It was dated and there were obvious things that were damaged and not repaired. The shower was old and difficult to use and the toilet could only be flushed by pressing the Cistern lever over & over again

The room had a great view but was a little dated. I thought the price I paid was a little over the top for what we ended up with but the staff were excellent as were the breakfast choices

Really lovely check in staff. Huge bed, good selection of pillows. Nice big room, view over the canal area which was nice. Easy check in and check out. Right by the tram stop so super easy access to the Bullring and Birmingham New Street.

£7.50 for a beer. The rooms are very tired. My bathroom had a mesh mash of repairs done it. Not a great choice of sports on the tv.

Beds were uncomfortable, woke up with a tight and sore neck both nights from the pillows. The bathtub kept flooding up when trying to shower and shower was very awkward to use. Couldn’t turn it on without being blasted in the face with water.
