Not happy about the Parking charge, I thought £27 onsite was unreasonable! and the parking alternative to book online which is apparently slightly discounted we didn’t have time to sort & the reception staff could not advise of the cost of this When I stayed at the holiday inn in birmingham the other month offsite parking around the corner in the B4 carpark was so easy & discounted - I paid half the price, I would consider staying there again just for ease of parking

Shower was not good, water flow far too high, hurt skin and head. Breakfast was very expenstve so we didin't get anything.

Shower was ok but could have been better- more powerful and more space than in a little bath. There was no dressing gown for my husband and we had to wait a long time before someone brought it up to us. £5 tray charge for anything that was brought up by room Service (we asked for some glasses for our bottle of wine at reception and were told to ring from Our room) . Pool width not Particularly wide to allow a number of people in at once especially if there are people doing lengths. I was added to a mailing list / rewards thing without permission - they asked for my email address did it and the. Told me I’m now on their rewards scheme.

The room floor should've been more cleaned, even a better hoover would've been an improvement. Breakfast cost was a little expensive... nice but not worth cost

Tea/coffee in room is standard/basic you get in all hotels. Leisure facilities standard and small compared to others I have used - steam room not very hot; pool cold - doesn’t bother me (I’m an outdoor swimmer!) but that was probably why at a busy time I was the only one swimming which might disappoint some guests. Towels smelt of roast or fried food . Breakfast - i love to have breakfast at hotels so will pay but price is steep compared to similar hotels. The cold buffet has a very good range and some things are higher standard - let down by average quality hot selection. I got a slight sense of being looked down on when I arrived with my young son - I earn £120.000 pa - don’t judge a book by its cover

Very clean. Very big and super comfortable bed with high grade of cotton sheets. Very good quality toiletries in bathroom. Great location. Lobby and dining area clean and good layout. Very pleasant and polite staff at breakfast with attentive service. Nice pleasant barman (Italian) in the evening

Service was a little slow and our room key declined a few times before check out time.

Location was superb! Close by to restaurants and bars and city centre. Spa facilities were great too. Will be back again.

Spa area wasn’t luxurious - they didn’t have private cubicle for changing in swim area and no slipper things or flip flops in spa as you would in other spa areas in hotel Was a bit soulless in that bit. Room service trays left outside the rooms for 48 hours not great for hygiene Staff lovely particularly the concierge who was super efficient and friendly

My stay was for my wedding anniversary. The facility met my expectations as myself and my husband had a really lovely time.

Some the furniture was tired bedside shelves and TV cabinet showed signs of wear

Room was very comfortable, had a good nights sleep. Very little noise from outside, but could hear neighbour using the toilet.

It was a shame the air conditioning didn't work properly as otherwise the room was great. Temperature was 23 Deg which made sleeping difficult .Didn't report till the morning as came in late from concert.
