There were no signs at the car park to indicate it was the hotel car park. The hotel has some great features but the staff were not forthcoming with helpful information such as: - we had to ask if there was a bus into town nearby. Turns out there are free bus tickets which we should have been given on arrival. - we had to ask which direction to take the bus to get to Cambridge and initially given the wrong bus stop by staff. Seems easy enough but surely most visitors are going to Cambridge. There are no bus maps to assist. - At breakfast it wasn’t explained that you could order from the kitchen, we just happen to observe another guest with something other than the bar food. Not a complaint just an observation in what might help sell such a great hotel better!

The hotel and room were new, smart and very clean. Breakfast was great and check in easy.

The area itself doesn’t have much going on, there are a couple of restaurants and cafes and one supermarket but you will need to go into other parts of Cambridge to explore more

That parking is an extra cost. As this hotel is a bit outside of the city center that could have been considered to be included. Maybe also some signs how to get to the garage would have been helpful.

Parking could be for free as there are no alternatives available. Also good is the supermarket right around the corner. Breakfast was wonderful!

There were a lot of electric car charger spaces - which was ideal because I needed one. However they were all taken up by non-electric cars. Simply not enough spaces overall so people just park anywhere they can... blocking the chargers. If you don't have an electric car, it won't be a problem.

It could be better if staff could not assume that you know everything about the property through reading the small print of the terms and conditions. I wasn’t happy with particularly information regarding parking.

the location is not great. to get to the train station or Cambridge center it takes a bus or a taxi. its around an hour of fast walk to the train station. the gym facilities are very small and lacking. its not very accessible by public transport who is slow and tidies.

it was a new and very nice hotel. The rooms ware very good, clean and well designed. very good showers and bed. the breakfast was great its a buffet with great food. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The check in experience was horrific. The staff was not courteous or welcoming at all. We were not allocated parking at first even after confirmation and the staff just told us to leave the car outside. I had to spent 15 mins to sort it out with the hotel. Plus the room we booked was not given when we moved and I had to remove my things again after spending another 10 mins with the staff. Not an experience you expect at Hyatt.

Not briefed on arrival about how to use the lift, which requires the room card to be waved in front of a reader before it will move. The car parking was complicated as the one car park served both Hyatt Centric and the adjacent aparthotel. The additional cost for parking was a bit irritating, especially as the out of town location means (I imagine) that most people arrive by car, and will expect this cost to be included as part of the overall accommodation package.

Spacious room, good bar and fine food. Everywhere very clean. Lifts worked!
