Very loud neighbours in the basement apartment. Lot of people gathering infront on the street screaming.

It was extremely cozy, with the bed and everything! Such a lovely landlady! Perfect room!

Duvets was dirty had marks on it. No shampoo shower gel hand wash etc everything felt damp hygiene don’t very good

Just a stroll into Town, comfortable room, clean with all the facilities. We literally only wanted a bed for the night. The lady who gave us our keys was very friendly. Ticked all the boxes.

The toilet/shower room there was no way to lock the door.

Staff were absolutely lovely, really friendly and we received a very warm welcome with clear instructions about accessing the property later at night. We were also made aware that they had some guests arriving very late that night so there may be some noise but we didn't hear a thing!

It is not a 4-star hotel as booking.com shows but the rooms are decent. The main wifi was not working but the next day they gave us another one which worked.

Good location, our room was huge with a small kitchen and microwave which was a nice surprise. The lady at the reception was very kind and friendly. For the price I paid, I am very satisfied with the room

The bathroom sink was so small you could barely wash your hands. The WiFi was almost inexistent at 3rd floor. You could catch the signal if you place the phone on the floor and then pray not to loose it. The stairs where very narrow, if I would have a bigger luggage it would be a big problem. Took the elevator you say? What is that? The cover sheet on the bad was not ironed, I hope it was clean. I have a smell condition and I could not check.

Almost nothing. I would not come again. The price was quite high for these conditions. The only good thing was that it was close to a bus station.

The soundproofing was poor and the property requires upkeep and general maintenance.

The location was excellent. The guest house was good value for the money.

The room we initially got had a few problems: they were doing a bit of reparations after the checkin hour, so we had to wait before taking a nap (we could live with that), the window couldn't close (it was winter and very windy) AND the toilet broke... Fortunately, we got moved and upgraded to a better room, but had the toilet not broken, the hotel would have deemed this room fit for other guests / maybe we wouldn't have been moved. As it is very common in England: the window didn't have curtains and good sound isolation, but we could make do.

The staff is extremely lovely and eager to find arrangements: we were not happy with the initial room we got attributed (a window didn't close and it was super windy during winter, and the toilet broke), and they were okay to find several solutions. We ended up staying in a better room than the one we payed for, which had a great bed, clean bathroom and all the amenities that you would like in a small hotel room.

The sheets had some stains on them, they didn’t seem fresh, but it was still slightly unsettling.

It is super close to the shore and the main street which I loved! There is also a bus stop right outside of the door and that’s very convenient. For the price point of these rooms you really get your money’s worth. The room was very good (I stayed in room 8) and the staff were super nice and accommodating.
