Outside was very unfinished.. and rough still needs to renovated.. building rubble and mess .. not clear signage and lots of codes to enter building, didn’t see any security. Wasn’t keen on paying £150 deposit. Missing finishing touches like a mirror, bath mat, plants or flowers . Reminded me of student accommodation

It’s a newly refurbished room so everything new and clean, bed, sofa kitchenette and bathroom .

The building is under renovation which were not mentioned. No parties were allowed but all night my neighbours in group been making noise till morning. Not good for families . Need to improve there Mattress.

The whole check in process was a complicated mess, the rooms looks half finished and leading up to the rooms, it was absolutely filthy, elevator and spit in them and the stair well was basically a construction site, missed the elevator the first time as you walk in to some stairs on a construction site and it’s completely pitch black the room where the elevator is. Beds were uncomfortable and considering the price I had, completely disappointed

Nice open space , separate bedroom, living room, and bathroom. Very polite and helpful members of the staff. Even housekeeping is lovely in the mornings when you check out. They process your deposit quite quickly, and reassure you everything is in order in regards to your stay Ofcourse keeping in mind there was no problems or breaking of the rules they have set in place. Overall - I would really recommend Merchant house apartments if someone is looking for a nice relaxed atmosphere and apartment.

The electric cooker doesn’t come with instructions on how to use it, so took me a while to get it working and cooking a meal. But I’m sure if I called staff for help they would have gladly helped.

From booking to checking out has always been smooth easy, and time saving. Staff is extremely helpful, everything is structured out really well which makes it so much easier. I have stayed a few times at merchant house apartments all of them which have been beautifully decorated , equipped with essentials that are needed. And just very comfortable to enjoy your space and at the same time feel secure in a new location. I have travelled for work a few times and thought it might get noisy up in the apartments around me, but they don’t at all. And it’s pleasantly just the right amount of background noise, near enough to none. So yeah just pleased over all. I would like to thank the staff, and the owners for being amazing hosts and going up and beyond for your guests.

It was hard to find using Google maps and when I called the number I was given the person on the other end wasn't helpful either. He had no idea! When you eventually find the building its ok but the surrounding areas are very rough and not where you want to be lost early hours of the morning

When we arrived there was one tea towel which was really stained with food I moved a little table and there was dust on the one underneath there was lots of shouting from what looks like a hostel opposite. It's supposed to be a quiet block appartments but there was slamming doors and running up and down till 05.30.

Road noise, sash windows didn't keep the noise out even on the fourth floor. Very scruffy area was afraid to leave my car. Building work in the foyer, rubble and builders mess all around the place. 3 different key codes to get in, poorly signposted entrance felt more like I was in the crystal maze than my room for the night. No TV signal so had to make do with iplayer.

Inside the apartment is beautifully finished and well equipped. Comfortable and very clean.

Absolutely disappointed, mistreated , check in was suppose to be at 9pm ended up getting code and checked in at 1am due to poor communication with there staff , threatened to cancel my booking hung the phone up on me and were so rude only because they couldn’t find the booking although I provided confirmation email and booking number and they rudely hung up on me

The loud construction noise early morning. And access to the building I stayed at was a bit hard to find. But got there in the end. Apart from that the apartment was great itself. Definitely will be visiting again.

It was extremely clean. All information provided prior to arrival. Fan provided as requested. Spacious and beautifully decorated. Customer service was amazing and fast responding. Basic needed essentials provided in kitchen bedroom bathroom etc. Nice big windows and smart TVs. 🙂
