Only stayed 1 night to attend a funeral , however in happier circumstances would have been a good base to see the town and surrounding area . Clean room and comfortable bed , didnot eat there so cannot comment on food .

Hotel is tired and would benefit from refurb of common areas. Choosing breakfast the night before was not good. My room was adjacent to a stairwell so was quite noisy even though there were not too many guests. I was unable to open windows to appreciate the sea air.

Staff v good. Breakfast v good (plus service). Bar was also good. Given the price paid all in all the accommodation was fair. Position relative to the seafront was v good also

Having to leave after our 3 night break!

Everything was superb and made our stay very enjoyable from checking in to checking out. We had a seaview room, therefore excellent views across the beach and down the promenade. The hotel is well placed for walking either towards Pakefield or down the promenade towards the harbour and town. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times, food and service fantastic.

Unfortunately the restaurant let it down...breakfast was good but the evening meal poor the presentation was not good, it appeared to be microwaved and thrown on the plate, the vegetables were hard and uneatable I did mention it to the waiter but he just shrugged his shoulders...The vegetarian options were not very inspiring so I had the fish pie which was all topping and no fish. It's a shame because it has a wonderful view..just needs a menu makeover. Maybe a set 3 course meal at a set price in the week for hotel guests.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location looking out to sea.. Free car parking....Lovely promenade outside the back of the hotel to walk along into Lowestoft Town centre...

Location fantastic… best rooms have the best sea views on norfolk coastline! Good sized bedrooms with just sound of the sea. View from dining room is perfect. Mostly excellent staff.

My bedroom was average, but it was obvious that a refurbishment is over due, also the shower didn't work properly and had practically no water pressure!

All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and went above the normal to help with any problems or requests! The restaurant and bar was nice, with nice food.

The mattress in my room…very flat and in need of a change must be at least 10 years old couldn’t get much sleep over the 3 nights very uncomfortable

Bed was very soft and the hotel room was extremely warm I had difficulty sleeping but that's just me, my other half had no problems.

Really good value for money, we go away quite a bit, try a different town hotel restaurant. Best breakfast I've had In a while, nearly as good as one of my own.

Decor of the room quite dated and communal areas were worn.

Lovely big room with beautiful sea view. Nice bath and shower worked well. Kettle and teapot, a nice touch.

Only one disabled parking spot which couldn’t use as there staff members use it before the customer plus we got lied to when we asked about who car was in the bay without the disabled blue badge o my to find out it was a member of the hotel’s staff

Although I had a Single Room it was adequately spacious with a good view. The staff were nice and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was great with lots of choice (although you had to pre-order your cooked options the night before), plus the service was exceptional.
