Lovely hotel in the heart of Stratford upon Avon. We were here for an event at the literary festival. Room was ideal - perfect temperature, well furnished - stylish decor with nice touches such as complimentary drinks and snacks.

I cannot think of anything we didn't like.

The breakfast was to our liking. Conveniently located, comfortable and warm. Staff were very attentive.

Lack of shelves in bathroom, the one shelf over the sink was very annoying. No hand rail to aid climbing in to a high bath,also by having a fixed shower screen my wife could not reach the taps etc without climbing into the bath. Also poor lighting around the dressing table where she did her hair and makeup.

The decor, the mix of olde worlde and modern styles. Very comfortable bed, complimentary treats and drinks in room. A good bar and choice of beverages.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! Firstly, the room. Stunning! We had a choice of rooms which was lovely touch, all with different styles. The room we had was amazing! Bed was very comfy, plenty of room, and an incredible bathroom. The shower was the best shower I've ever had! The facilities in the room were lovely too. A very good coffee machine provided a stunning espresso in the morning, and the well stocked mini fridge and snacks was a nice touch. The hotel - stunning! Everything was very clean and the hotel had a lovely scent! The staff were very attentive and provided great tips on seeing the town and food recommendations. The outside area was lovely too, with plenty of space for a quiet beer in the garden surrounded by flowers. The location - perfect! Located on the prettiest street of Stratford, very close to restaurants, pubs and activities. Easy to get to and from. The restaurant - What a restaurant! The Woodsman was easily one of the best restaurants we have been to. Food was amazing, drinks were lovely, and the ambiance was perfect. We are planing to come back to Stratford just for another stay in this hotel and a meal at the Woodsman! I cannot recommend this place enough!

We stayed in the Georgian townhouse which is separate to the main hotel. Accessing this property was through a courtyard and as the weather was wet it had a 'dampening' effect on the stay. This isn't a criticism of the hotel, but it would have made our stay nicer if we had chosen a room in the main hotel building.

Fabulous location! Parking was an added bonus. Room was well appointed and spacious for a busy tourist town centre. Shower was great And they remembered to pop an ice bucket in the room for us ❤

Paying for parking. No air con and room was a little on the cold side at times, but heated up later in the evening. Accessing dining area via courtyard.
