The feel and ambience. This such a charming place to stay when in Loughborough. The hosts are fantastic and are very attentive. The breakfast is superb.

I've never stayed in a B and B before but had to book this one due to my last minute plans for my son's football tournament. Best hotel/B&B I've ever stayed in 10 years considering I normally stay in 4 or 5tar. There is something about this place that's magical and can't put in words

What an exceptional property. The hosts were amazing. Friendly, gracious & kept such a beautiful place for us to stay. I loved my tea in my room with a sweet & the breakfast was hearty & yummy. The house itself was amazing. A perfect find! Don’t hesitate just book it!

I had an allocated shower room, but not ensuite, however, I do not see this as a major issue. I merely comment upon it as something others may wish to note. Some traffic noise in the morning.

Eclectic decoration and exceptional cleanliness make it a place you would want to visit just to see it, not just a place to stay a very pleasant night. A property clearly owned and run by people who really care about their customers and their business.

I've stayed here twice now and will definitely be back! Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is delicious, shower is nice, free parking, good wifi - superb, friendly hosts. I'm never too bothered about the decor, but this place is absolutely lovely, well decorated, and very cozy. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Loughborough.

The natural state of the manor is well preserved. The room and toilet are beautifully furnished. I will definitely want to stay here again if I visit Loughborough again.

If I must complain about something, then a mixing faucet would have been nice instead of separate hot and cold water taps in my bathroom :)

The place was stylish and meticulously tidy. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. The room was nice, clean and spaceous. The breakfast was tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a large, spectacular, antique-laden guest house that the outstanding hosts Lez and Derek have created over the last ten years or so, providing a marvellously welcoming and nicely off-beat experience for their guests. The large red brick corner house is full of twists, turns, and winding corridors, each containing yet another quirky artefact, clock, or eye catching picture. You are welcomed warmly on arrival, and treated like family, with their excellent breakfast being the crowning glory! Accidentally finding places like this, in the UK or Europe, is an increasingly rare experience these days. This place is just wonderful!
