The evening meal was excellent and the lemon drizzle was absolutely excellent. Good friendly atmosphere in the bar. Just to explain the answer of how we travelled there, we were on motorcycles. The car park is large and we never felt there was any problem with leaving the bikes there.

Everything was well provided for a relaxing few days away on Anglesey; however, using a Laptop was rather difficult, and perhaps the furniture could include a desk.

Very comfortable hotel in a convenient location on Anglesey for exploring the island or visiting friends; Welcoming and helpful landlord; Spacious car park; The room was attractive and warm, leading to a good and efficient shower room; Reliable wi-fi and ample provision for tea-&-coffee; Breakfast was well served in the bar area. A most enjoyable few days in Wales.

The room was cold the first night. Some weird loud bird sounds every morning woke me up around 7am-ish, but I guess that can’t be helped.

The room was a great size, lovely double bed quite comfortable. The breakfast and pub food was very good, the chicken curry chefs kiss!

Exceptionally clean and comfortable room with a decent sized en suite and good shower. Owners and staff were absolutely great, very friendly, happy and helpful. Felt at home straight away. Food was very nice and fast service. Half board was exceptional value in my opinion.

No password was available for the main Internet. However, a BT Internet was provided, but was almost non existent in room one upstairs. (Maybe the main password is available on the original router.) Room one extractor fan bearings may disturb the neighbours. Having said all that, I will be back.

A perfect stop over: Friendly owners. Bedroom had all you need. Superb evening meal and breakfast Lots of parking space. Spar shop oposite. Fuel available nearby. Ideal for Hollyhead.

Leaving! Need to find an excuse to return.

Absolute gem!! Staff were so genuinely friendly and chatty. Have stayed in numerous places recently and this was probably the cheapest but surprisingly the best. Bed was super comfy and didn't want to get up. Food was amazing and place just clean and felt like home. Premises is a family run community based premises and every effort is taken to make you feel welcome. Stay was perfect. Am in another inn tonight which cost more and comes no where near. Thank you Stephen for being a fabulous host.

Having such a short stay

Hidden inside this traditional Welsh village pub is a five star facility with spacious, comfortable bedrooms down to the simple welcoming freshly cut roses adding to the overall home from home atmosphere The hospitality of Steve and Liz is matched by the warm and genuine welcome I was given by the pub regulars. Having owned a similar pub myself I can only admire the effort they put in to make this such a memorable experience. Thanks a million

The noise from the bathroom fan from another room was quite irritating, especially when it continued for over an hour on one of the evenings. The noise was louder than from the bathroom fan in my own room which also seemed to have an over prolonged run time.

Breakfast was very nice. The choice was basically anything I would like for breakfast and the coffee was steaming hot. In spite of being a public house you heard little from the bar downstairs. Facilities in the room were everything you needed. It was nice to see a hairdryer and and iron/ironing board. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate - plenty of choice of beverages. Staff/owners very pleasant. Didn't feel at all uncomfortable that I was travelling/staying alone.
