Room decor in particular bed base, which although you don’t sleep directly on it, doesn’t look nice. Basin was pitted as if something had been dropped in it several times however this didn’t affect use. Evening meal choice a little disappointing would have liked to have seen a menu before being seated. Tepid water for tea but staff rectified this straight away and all staff were attentive and polite.

The location good for RHS. Car parking good. Room size good. Room decor tired, base of bed heavily stained and could do with cleaning. Air con a great bonus. Corridor carpets were stained. Bedroom size great as was bathroom. Lifts working and all staff brilliant and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice , buffet style ,large spacious areas to sit and no rush to move on.

Breakfast. Though there are many Indian staying at this hotel there isn't much for the Indians. One or two dishes for Indian vegetarians would have been great. Only reason for not selecting this hotel next time will be food choice.

We had taken a four bedded room. Size was good enough for four people. Everything was perfect except the food part. Not many options for Indian Vegetarians.

Price - too expensive for Taylor Swift concert!

Food back at the hotel after the concert was extortionate, £7.50 for half a frozen pizza.

Concert weekend so it was pricy but that was expected. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was nice, good choices and fresh.

Some of our fellow hotel guests were very noisy early in the morning, banging wardrobe doors and bedroom doors. There was also considerable noise for a short while from the zoo next door but the hotel cannot control that! 😊

Hard to find pedestrian access (entry/exit)

Walkable distance (30 mins) from and to murrayfield stadium (eras tour!) and also very accessible to go to city center. The staff were very friendly and there were nice choices for breakfast

Food at the restaurant was slightly expensive. There’s only USB plugs by the bed, which was a slight annoyance due to not having USB devices, but nothing major at all!

We had a great 2 night stay for the Taylor Swift concert. We were greeted by Alasdair who was super friendly and helpful when we checked in. The room was big enough for the 3 of us, and the beds and pillows were SO comfy (which was very appreciated after an extremely long day travelling). The hotel had decorated the lobby and played Taylor Swift music the day of the concert which was a lovely touch (we also loved the messages on the lift mirrors!). We ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed the food, and we also used the pool/sauna which was a lovely complimentary addition to our stay :) Location was great to get to the stadium and city centre using public transport We definitely want to return to Edinburgh and will definitely stay at this hotel again, it was great!

This was a friend's and family reunion with function room and bar pre booked. Unfortunately, evening was spoiled as no bar was set up for function and meals came to table cold or just warm. The stay was let down by this experience.
