The room was a double when we requested a twin. The room was very small and a strange shape, very disappointed in the size and space, it felt like it was a converted store cupboard. Had to squeeze a small suitcase between the corner of the bed and the wall to get to the clothes rail.

The hotel was clean, friendly and breakfast was nice other than cold chewy hashbrowns

The breakfast was cold and average. The toaster was so slow, it took 4 trips through the toaster to get any hint of colour on it.

Check in didn't go smoothly, there seems to be problems if you book through Booking.com with room rates. Breakfast was good apart from the lid for the hot server used for hash browns was missing but they were still put on and were cold.

Location was good. Problems we had were sorted quickly. Good to get breakfast included.

we booked double beds and only got 1 the other was twin, there was no breakfast when we got down we had to wait over 25 minutes for breakfast , very dated room with sockets hanging off and wood trim broken

Asked for extra pillows and didn't receive any also some towels again a no show. Completely understand security when coming in but when u talk to someone and go to shop next door and then return to be interogated is bit much remember guests would be good or a wrist band.

The coffee was dreadful! No Earl grey tea available. Door lock really difficult and noisy to open. Weird room layout. Having to ask for vegetarian options at breakfast - the lovely staff were already busy so we didn't like to ask.

The shower pressure could have been a bit more. There was a noisy boiler or something that affected my sleep on the first night although not the second night.

Room was on the top floor but the lift was working well so that was fine. Room was spacious and clean with a comfortable sofa. Breakfast was included which was good and it was quite adequate for my needs. The shower was fine although a bit more pressure would have been nice. Location was pretty central - 10 minute walk from St Peter's Square

We had twin single beds and to be honest they weren’t very comfortable. The pillows were lovely and the sheets were good quality but the beds feel like they’re in need of an upgrade. Lumpy in places. I struggled to get comfortable. I also wish the TV had been a smart TV for Netflix etc.

The staff were outstanding. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel was in a great location, it was clean and did a fantastic breakfast. The room was spacious and well stocked, also very clean and had a nice view from the window. The air con was great too and the wifi was free and faultless.

It's very inconvenient that the air conditioner cannot be adjusted by myself. I stayed there for 3 nights and it was restarted every day. Even I had to go to the front desk to make a request to turn on the air conditioner, and then went downstairs again to make the request because the temperature was not right. One of the times the staff ignored my request and just turned the temperature down to the lowest possible temperature of 19 degrees. In addition, the room card also lost its function twice, so in the past three days, after work meetings, I ran to the front desk to ask for service many times. It also took a long time to wait for lift, which made me very frustrated.

Breakfast and front-desk service is nice. Really convenient.

Nothing that wasn’t horrendous. Bacon could have done with cooking a little more but that’s personal choice

Location is fantastic near uni halls as was moving daughter back home for summer and air con that works is a bonus. Didn’t have a hairdryer. Went to reception and they asked me to check whether it was on the shelf about the wardrobe. Checked, there wasn’t but a brand new one in the box was delivered to the room within a few minutes. Really good service with a smile
