I sent the hotel 2 messages on the 7th and 8th February about our check-in time. Our transport wouldn't get into London until 10pm, and I needed confirmation that a late-checkin was acceptable. Didn't get a response from them until the 22nd of February... We stayed there as a couple. We were given 2 key cards, but only 1 of them worked in the lift. We were advised by someone who worked there that only 1 card worked in the lift & one worked on our hotel door. The key cards looked identical - This isn't practical at all as it meant if 1 of us needed to leave/go downstairs we'd need to take both cards to access the lift and then the room, leaving the other person in darkness in the room (need to plug-in 1 keycard to activate the lights)... Stayed in many hotels, but none were as much of a faff or had such a weird system. Why not just allow each keycard access to activate both the lift and the doors? Breakfast system is a bit chaotic - it could do with some sort of 1-way system like a lot of other hotels do. A lot of people were knocking into each other and squeezing through the tight spaces where the got food and drinks machine are located.

Excellent location, very comfortable rooms and bed - could have happily slept in that room much longer than 1 night. Good choice of food at breakfast (and drinks). Comfortable and ambient vibe in the hotel - it was really calm and comfortable in the evening. If you forget toilettries you can ask them at the desk

Breakfast is rather limited (vegetarian choices), but still nice food. Some spots in the room need more careful cleaning.

The room was quiet, despite it being next to the airport. It is really easy to get to from terminal 4. The bed was comfortable. Great to stay in for an early flight or a late arrival.

I don't like how there is no refrigerator in the room. As there is nothing within a 10 minute drive radius of shops/ food - if you wanted to save money to get food, you're heavily limited without a fridge. I found the food prices too expensive at the hotel, so mostly ate out.

The beds are super comfortable, and the bathrooms are very clean. I like the variety of breakfast choices. I like the easy use of the underground - great if you're doing looks of London attractions.

Need better signage for the exit from LHR Terminal 4 walkway. It's not clear that Holiday Inn is the same exit as Crowne Plaza. We were exhausted walking the long passage from the train and suddenly there were no more directive signs for Holiday Inn. We walked all the way to the end Hilton without realizing we'd passed the Holiday Inn.

Comfortable and clean. Included buffet breakfast was typical fare.
