Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomNo light in the toilet and when I mentioned it they could not replace the light bulb because apparently there was no 'engineer' on site. I nearly just went and purchased one myself - but stopped short on that - its a straightforward job to replace a light bulb.
Staff were very helpful and hospitable - but I would have preferred table service and freshly prepared food.

United KingdomNo bath, only way we could get a bath was to pay extra. We had already paid a lot of money! The toilet is just behind a glass door! With a further privacy screen which is glass. Everything can be heard and shadows seen.
Setting is beautiful, fridge in bedroom bonus! Shower was decent.

United KingdomThe young male receptionist was quite rude and passive aggressive, did not make me feel welcome and made me wait till the very minuet of check in, despite other customers checking in early... found this very disappointing, all other encounters with other staff were great. Only other issue was the TV, despite being a smart TV could not use any of the apps, which was disappointing and would have added to my stay.
The room was phenomenal, really comfortable bed, good facilities and spacious room. Spa facilities were amazing, good value to add on to your stay, views were gorgeous from the outside pool and the staff are lovely.

Lovely location, with stunning views. Liked how stylish the rooms were with smeg kettles and fridges, bed was also very big and comfy!

United KingdomRather than a bathroom we had a toilet cubicle, a shower cubicle and a sink within the room. I've not experienced this before and it felt odd. Also, there wasn't much storage space, no wardrobe just a clothes rack across the room with a few hangers and one drawer.
The staff were very good (John in the restaurant, Sam and Fin behind the bar); worked hard, friendly, chatted to me and my daughter. The fridge in the room was good and spacious enough to have drinks in there. Everywhere was very clean. The bar was a nice welcoming area. The hotel is only 15 mins or so from Zip World Betws-y-Coed and, when it opens at the end of March 24, Zip World Conwy is opposite the hotel.

United Kingdomits ridiculous to advertise as pet friendly but charge £50 for a dog to stay for one night, it is ridiculous to advertise as having a pool but having to pay £30 per person to use it! it is totally unacceptable
great beautiful location with a lovely local pub to walk to which served excellent meals and good selection of beers with a coal fire, excellent facilities, very welcoming staff the comfiest bed !
