The food, drinks, rooms all fabulous and the spa is amazing

It was convenient because we were attending an event at the adjacent conference centre. But not convenient for anywhere else in Aberdeen.

Disappointed at now paying for parking, last time we stayed parking didn’t cost extra, £15 on top of our room price was a shock.

The bed was a little to hard and the pillows to soft, the price of having 2 steaks with 2 drinks was ridiculous, £80 for 2 people and it wasn't cooked how I wanted it, (like mine well done, and it was bleeding) really put me off! Wouldn't recommend having tea there as way to dear. Also the cleaners didn't give time to reach the door before walking in, almost caught us twice getting dressed!

The parking per night is twice that of Aloft (opposite). The gluten free toast was rationed by the staff member leading breakfast service (I wasn’t permitted to say how many slices my daughter and I wanted). It’s very expensive for the service provided.

Location for P&J great. Facilities (gym, spa) great. Check in and out very efficient.

Waited over 45 minutes to check in. When we got to the check in desk, one of the staff (William) announced he was going on his break. It was very unprofessional at this point, especially considering we were the last in what had been a very long wait. We were attending an event at the adjoining P&J live and was very short on time due to this wait. When we did get to the check in, the girl (Gaby) made no attempt to apologise for any lengthy wait we’d endured. I explained my frustrations but was told to just “send an email”. No contact email was provided and felt very let down with the customer service on this first impression.

Would have liked more tea/coffee facilities i.e no hot choc or biscuits-or bottled water Bathrobes and slippers would have been appreciated with fully refundable deposit option rather than paying £10 each non-refundable deposit - especially for a BB rate of £223

Not value for money. Stayed in a lot nicer hotels for less. Few other facts that were disappointing 1. When you pay £190 a night you don’t expect them to charge you £15 for parking and then make you park in a dried dirty park 2. Load of food Trays in the corridors when walking to my room. Not nice impression 3. Far too expensive for why you get. 4. No towels in the room when we arrived so had to get reception to send some up. This shouldn’t happen in an expensive hotel 5. Getting back in to hotel after the concert was draining as we needed to show ID and room card. Nice hotel but when you pay that sort of money the above shouldn’t happen

The woman on reception was very rude. She couldn't find us on the system and smirked that we didn't have a reservation. We just stayed there and brought this app up, and she was still rude, saying it's not on the system, but it was the way it came across because she kept laughing and smirking. Another receptionist stood in and found us on the system. She spelt my name wrong. We had a question as the menu wasn't on paper. it's on the tv. The man didn't want to help or do anything he just said its on your TV, but it wasn't. we looked for an hour before calling room service. The lovely man read the whole menu to us very patently, and room service gave the best service.

The spa was amazing, the pool is huge and expertly lit, so its flattering and calming. The room service was exceptional. He went above and beyond for us. Not only did he read the whole menu, he found the gluten-free options and made sure there was no cross contamination. Then he personally delivered it. In my opinion he was the most welcoming person on the staffing team.

Nothing we dont like.

We love everything about this hotel. Staff are always fantastic. Anything you need they see to it for you. Big about out to Apple - she's awesome & a great asset to the hotel. Always polite n moved us to an Executive room too with benefits.
