Hi Hilltop Hideaway, I honestly have to say this is definitely heaven. My friend and I stayed here for the night, and it was an absolutely beautiful location with great fields and animals. The place was absolutely spotless. The hot tub took us away from day-to-day life just to enjoy time to relax, think, and have a glass of wine. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants time away from day-to-day life. Thanks for having us! .

Bathroom is a little small

The cutest little spot, bed was super comfortable, very clean, so quiet and relaxing, away from everything. Views were amazing over looking the mountains. Hot tub was unreal, so warm and again so comfortable. Plenty of privacy also it really is a hideaway. Colleen even provided a list of local takeaways that even deliver to the hideaway so that was brilliant, we were never stuck for anything, 10/10

Gorgeous private area. Hot tub easy to use and lovely temp. Robes and sliders provided. Immaculate inside. Comfy bed. Colleen couldn’t do enough for us, even allowing an hour later checkout for a tiny fee. We even had the visitation of 3 lovely little cats!

Absolute gem of a place! So peaceful. The hot tub was also amazing,just relaxing and taking in the views 😍😍. There is a list left of local restaurants etc and we went to Donnelly's which is just a 4 min drive, they only accept cash and there is no ATM in the shop next door and unable to give cash back unless it's a notheren bank card. There is also a chipper/Chinese and the food is lovely,also cash only. Colleen has thought of everything that you could need from games to a housecoat. I would deffo come back and would recommend a stay here. You will not be disappointed!

The hot tub - it wasn't really hot enough. I had been looking foward to it but man, it was just too cold. Also there wasn't a heck of a lot of storage space, but you make it work!

Beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Peaceful and secluded. Perfect for a romantic getaway or just to soak in the local area. If you are lucky you will hear the cows mooing at you! The hosts had gone the extra mile to welcome us with a bottle of wine and personal message which was very much appreciated.

No microwave/BBQ/hob as it makes it hard to make your own food if not feeling a take away

Very hard to get a taxi. Local pub doesnt accept card and walk home is verrrrry long. All minor problems that can easily be sorted once you are aware.

Attention to detail was amazing. Very clean and well put together. They thought of everything from tea bags and milk to robes and flipflops. Pod gets lovely and warm with the fire which is great after the jaquzzi.

Me and my partner have stayed in various accommodation sites across Ireland but Hilltop Hideaway has easily topped the lot and will be a hard one to beat! Can definitely see us returning in the near future. The location is really private, remote but easy to access. The car parking at the rear of the pod creates a clear view of the countryside surrounds. The pod is tastefully decorated and featured seasonal extras such as a welcome board and valentines bunting which was a really nice touch. The mattress and bed sheets were super comfy, so much so we struggled to get out of the bed the next morning! The facilities all worked as should and the kitchenette was well stocked with crockery, cutlery, plus some cereal, milk and waters which was appreciated. The local Chinese delivered to the remote pod so there was no need to leave this place. Lastly, the hot tub was warm for our arrival, and stayed warm throughout our stay, offering a great place to relax. As far as Hilltop Hideaway is considered, they know how to put the glamour in glamping!

If there was a little more shelter for the hot tub as the wind made it colder than it should have been. However, this definitely didn't dampen our night

Colleen went above and beyond with all the little details with the hideaway! She had a hairdryer, games, shampoo etc, robes which fit a plus size girl, cornflakes for the morning and even a spot of milk for them too! The hot tub was incredible and the lights in the house made it feel so cozy! We had two feline friends come to visit during our stay which we loved We decided to sleep with the curtains open and waling up to the view was incredible, I would definitely stay again and recommending it to all my friends

When we got out of the hot tub for the first time we realised that we'd overlooked bringing something to drink (that wasn't alcoholic!) to the pod. There were tea and coffee making facilities which was great, but maybe a small bottle of drinking water would be great to keep in the fridge along with the milk. Being in the hot tub does make you thirsty!

The accommodation was perfect for an overnight getaway. The bed was comfy, the decor is stylish and simple with a homely, rustic feel, and the compact shower room and kitchenette had everything you might need for a short stay. Breakfast cereal was provided which was a nice, unexpected touch. The location is excellent as the pod is in very, private secluded spot with beautiful views, and the hot tub really makes the most of the surrounding scenery. Myself and my husband had the most relaxing time in this beautiful spot and the host Colleen really has thought of everything to make your stay as easy as possible. We ordered a takeaway from Julia's which is closeby, and they couldn't do enough for us, even offering to pick up any essentials in the local shop if we needed them. Having our own private hot tub and being blessed with amazing (yet cold) weather and clear skies was such a fantastic experience. We've been to very high end spa hotels, with gorgeous facilities but nothing could beat the two of us, watching the sunset, stargazing in the dead of night, and watching the sunrise surrounded by frozen fields and hills, all from the luxury of a hot tub. We felt like VIPs. I'll DEFINITELY be booking again. Thank you Colleen, for creating such a beautiful setup and a seamless stay ❤️

It was all amazing

Everything at the property was fantastic. The setting was amazing, the details from the host made it easy to know where to go in the area and who delivered food. Tea, coffee, milk, cereal provided. We had robes and slippers on arrival and the hot tub was a great temperature and stayed on the whole stay. The bed was so comfortable and the pod had everything you could need from WiFi to some games. It was a magical setting and great stay.

Nothing, I would suggest putting a little rail on the steps of the tub for getting and out.

The place was magical, it exceeded our expectations. It was quiet, secluded and perfectly positioned for the best view. We were unlucky with bad weather but this didn't dampen our spirits and the place still worked really well in bad weather.

Hilltop hideaway is the perfect escape!! Nothing around but the gorgeous scenery and some cows. That's all you need!! The pod it's self is beautiful, perfect for couples, going with a friend or even just yourself. Colleen was a great host. You don't have to bring much with you as she has got you covered. I definitely recommend getting the treat box!!
