Everything was perfect. Lovely rooms, great views. More extras than we could of expected. Every little detail thought out, to make this the best place to stay in lynton/ lynmouth, if not devon!

Nothing, we should have stayed an extra night....

Upon arrival, Richard surprised us with delicious scones and tea. The house is set up high on a hill and our room had the perfect view. Fantastic breakfast, very clean and beautiful rooms and very comfortable mattress. Richard and Robert are the perfect hosts, thank you.

Nothing I didn’t like.

The property is beautiful, very tastefully decorated, enjoying a panoramic view and in a perfect location. It’s truly a 5-star luxury bed and breakfast. Robert and Richard are wonderful hosts who provide their guests with very exquisite and attentive service. From delicious cream tea on arrival, to a purple Platinum Jubilee Gift Hamper, to a very impressive breakfast, the whole experience staying in Highcliffe House was incredible. We would highly recommend this unique, beautiful and luxury B&B to everyone.

We really can’t think of anything that could be bettered. Well done Richard and Robert and thank you for looking after us so well.

From the time we were greeted and helped to park to being seen off,our experience was exceptionally good. The views both from the lounge and our room were spectacular. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our evening cocktail before the short walk to dinner in the town. Breakfast was lovely and very freshly cooked. We wouldn’t think of going anywhere else if we return to Lyndon.

The location was fantastic the views from our room amazing. Breakfast was really good, the two guys that owned Highcliffe house Robert and Richard couldn’t do enough for you, a wonderful stay and we would definitely return.

Highcliffe House was an exceptional place to stay. The cream tea upon arrival was delicious and the attention to every detail made our visit very enjoyable. The rooms have beautiful views and the breakfast was delicious. Robert and Richard were wonderful hosts and even helped park our car!

Only a small thing, the bathroom decor was a little tired and the shower pressure wasn't the best

Just a word of warning: if your mobility is compromised, there are steps everywhere and no lift. Although I’m certain that Robert or Richard would help with luggage if needed - they were so welcoming!

Breakfast was superb: a lot of choice, all home cooked with locally sourced ingredients, homemade james and marmalade and massive portions!! The location was wonderful: high up overlooking the sea, the town, the moors and the valley with a 180 degree view. There is a wee terrace above a steep garden which is well tended.
