Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The fact you can park there. Nice bar on site. That does a happy hours. Clean and tidy.

United KingdomBathroom had a bit of a damp smell, but went when the window was open. Booking.com not advertising the breakfast situation properly caused a slight issue since a cooked breakfast has an extra charge, and it's only continental breakfast that is included. On our first morning at breakfast we were told the restaurant would be closed that night, but the reason they gave seemed like something they could have told us about in advance (but in fairness, we hadn't booked to use the restaurant, just planned to). Also were told that morning that there would be no room cleaning, just top ups of stuff, but that could probably do with being on their booking information too; we didn't mind, but some people might have.
Room was adorable, as was the whole place- absolutely enchanting! Breakfast was a good selection, great hot drinks machine with many options to choose from. Also loved that there was parking!

Excellent location close by A6, and ample parking. Hostess was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble! Excellent breakfast, we upgraded to a cooked one, and glad we did! A small but well rounded menu in the restaurant was well received on our first night's stay. Room a little compact but perfectly adequate. With one or two small tweaks, this place could be outstanding!

United KingdomWe only wanted a room for one night before we met friends the next day, room number 9 was fine we had a shower towels kettle tray with the usual tea coffee milk sugar and biscuits. if we stayed longer i would ask for a bigger room. The bed was comfortable I don't think for the price anyone should complain. Breakfast was continental but we knew that when we booked, no cheese or ham but that's not a problem for us, you could make your own toast tea and coffee. Even better we did not have to leave until 11am

Location was great and onsite parking away from the road very handy (motorcycle tourer). Room was small but nice. Room had plug in oil radiator which was handy for drying clothes. I had a really nice curry (and chips!) evening meal and the staff were pleasant.
