Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe radiators were off the wall, had not been installed correctly and was worried to put them on as they were on the floor, and risk of damaging carpet. Therefore it was a bit cold.
The location was ideal, nice view, local to shops and restaurants. The property was modern and well decorated

United KingdomThe bathroom and living room was very dirty. The view it’s very nice n front of the sea but the windows are so dirty you can’t see out. Another thing is the bed. The mattress is very cheap and very uncomfortable.

United KingdomAll the stairs with toddler and luggage, as stated i was alone that i needed ground floor i was put in top level flat , very dangerous with toddler . And beds were not put together properly at all . Freezer was unuseable and no tv instructions or tea towels . Bathroom lock did not function so my autistic 12 yr old was stuck for 20 mins whilst i had to try and get him out and watch a toddler who was upset hearing his older brother panic .
View was good , flat was clean .

United KingdomWe were in basement, no phone signal. Terrible bed, thin cheap mattress, awful night's sleep. Mould by front door. No lampshade in bedroom and bedside lamp sat on floor as the only furniture was one chest of drawers and the bed. Nowhere to hang a coat. No furniture at all in 2nd bedroom Could be so much nicer if there were a few more homely touches. Outside was creepy with two alcoves directly opposite the windows, I did wonder if homeless had been using as there was a lot of rubbish in one. I would not have been comfortable coming back to the flat by myself late at night. This could so easily be solved by putting up some fencing or rails to block off.

United KingdomWe walked around the same streets looking for this property and I have come to.the conclusion it was a building site....absolutely disgusted as we had no where to sleep and had to sit on a bench for hours until the 1st train came. It has taken a week for me to calm down to write this complaint
We arrived at where the property was supposed to be and to my knowledge it did not exist....we were left homeless for the night

United KingdomWi-fi connection to TV was prone to dropping out fairly regularly for a few seconds at a time. But didn't travel to watch TV anyway.
Great location, with lovely full views of the pier, beach and sea. I left the window open to enjoy the sounds of waves during the stay. The Apartment was clean, and the facilities were good. The inclusion of a washing machine, although unused for this trip, was a nice touch, that would make a longer stay that much easier if travelling light, for longer or with family. Overall, it is great value money, with an ideal location, which is perfect for long runs (or walks if that's your jam) along the seafront to either Whitstable or Reculver and beyond. I didn't make it all the way to Birchington this time, but there is always the next trip.

GermanyTV only works of WiFi, there is. No WiFi and the phone signal is poor, so I couldn't connect via my phone. The power shower has the usual power shower issues in that it either wants to freeze you or burn the skin off your bones. Little bit of mould in a couple of places on the walls.
For the cost of the accommodation, it was excellent value. Spacious, clean and comfortable.
