We had a problem with our evening meal. We were told we couldn't have dinner in the dining room as there was a function but that we could have dinner in the bar from 7.00pm. However, we we were not allowed to order dinner until after 8.00pm and when it arrived much later the meal was very disappointing and we were just left with our plates and no waiter service. So this really spoilt our experience of the hotel.

The main building, decor and the grounds were lovely!! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The nice breakfast in the dining room was enhanced by the lovely views of the grounds. In the evening, the waitress at the bar, Grace, coped very well with a difficult situation having to tell all the hungry guests that dinner service would be delayed in contrary to what we had been led to believe at the reception.

Breakfast could have been better. Was waiting for beans and hash browns at breakfast buffet. Some moody staff. Someone asked how long beans will be and she replied I don't know I'm not the chief.

The surrounding area is beautiful and the main house is lovely. Right on the themes. Lovely kept garden

Lovely location and just a short cab ride into Henley, perfect for our planned weekend, staff all polite and catered for my dietary requirements. Just on the bank of the River Thames so great to walk off breakfast.

We paid a high price for our stay unfortunately our cooked breakfast arrived cold the waitress took them back to reheat but they still came back cold apart from a hot sausage bacon was overdone and hard we were unable to eat the breakfast. Staff were very apologetic but this spoilt our stay at Greenlands Hotel. We would not stay there again.

Great venue for getting together with friends and small groups. Couples would enjoy this too and the surrounding are peaceful and river Thames adding to the splendour. Excellent breakfast and could not fault this place.

I was warned my room would away from The main building which was fine the first night.The room was amazing- recently updated, chic, all mod cons, wonderful bathroom with wall shower. however on the second night there was wedding party staying in the main house and really I wouldn’t have known it as I felt the hotel was very careful where they put their guests But I was woken by some people outside my window talking and then the same people at five discussing ordering a taxi which meant I didn’t get much sleep that second night I didn’t complain or call security as I didn’t feel it was a safety issue.

Not having a disabled room and facilities for my husband

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were fantastic = our room was fine but there was no fridge and the shower room had no where to put your toiletries . The location was a bit out of the way and if you did not have a sat nav it was difficult to find Greenlands.
