Bit of a walk with the luggage from Car Park F but we were pre-warned so packed accordingly.

Location was excellent and not far from bus stops into Leeds and the 56 route was convenient for some of our other places to visit. Also we were able to watch some cricket when we were not out and about from the comfort of the room. We also were able to obtain last minute tickets to watch a Rhinos game on the Friday evening. On site food and drink was obtainable and for breakfast the cafe across the road was welcoming. Allocated parking was easy to find. Pillows to my liking.

Quite expensive for the type of room you get; nice but basic, with no room service during a 3 night stay. Seems designed for the players. Noise from Leeds Rhinos kept me awake, so I turned on Sky Sports, only to find they were on there too! 😁Having to move car some distance for the cricket when hardly any of the spaces were occupied; at that price you shouldn't be a "second class citizen" on getting a parking space, no doubt reserved for "the great and the good" who never turned up, and it was only a County game not a test match.

Sign in the bathroom said to put towels in the shower if you want them changed over. We did this but came back late at night to find them still in the shower despite housekeeping having been in and refreshed the room, not ideal. Also unpleasant smell from toilet.

Location for us was perfect. Check in and out really easy and staff on the desk were really friendly and helpful. Room was really good size and the view was very cool. Good WiFi and the secure car park was a massive plus.

Bed was two singles put together and started to separate during the night which made it uncomfortable. Also the shower gel on the wall wasn't there.

Car park barrier was down on arrival. No one was in the gatehouse. I was able to enter the hotel reception. No one was there. No way of contacting anyone. Waited 20 minutes until security guard came back to the gatehouse. He let us enter the car park and radioed the receptionist. He came downstairs 5 minutes later. No greeting or apology until we had checked in. Then he apologised and said there had been a milk issue.

We had a nice, comfy room. The view over the cricket ground was nice. Couldn't fault the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy and the fridge was a nice bonus. Parking was easy and secure, location was good.

I think the shower wet room which was really nice wasn’t well planned. I had a quick shower, washed and conditioned my hair and realised the water wasn’t draining fast enough which meant that the water flooded the bathroom and seeped into the living area! This could have been dangerous if I’d left electrical plugged in on the floor.

The hotel had the most stunning view of the cricket pitch. I’m not into cricket but it was nice! There was a kettle, a few helpings of Yorkshire tea and coffee. There was adequate storage and an iron. The bed was super comfy snd I slept so so well because it was the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel was closely located to a street of restaurants in Headingley and only a 20 minute walk to the Brudenell social club where I was watching a gig. It didn’t take long to drive into Leeds city centre neither. Very quiet hotel, car felt safe with security guard and barriers. The price for what we had was very good. It was part of the cricket but I was aware it d that and not too fussed.
