Clean hotel and bedroom, staff friendly and good location. Bus stop 5 minute walk away which takes you straight into Oxford centre £4 return. Breakfast was nice and staff very accommodating.

The hotel was how we would expect it to be.It was my daughter’s 8th birthday and the staff was sweet enough to get a dessert, teamed with a box of chocolates and a card ( even when we asked at the last minute to do so).The staff was courteous and very helpful, advising us how to go about exploring. We loved the food and ambience, and the breakfast was hearty.

We had an ongoing problem with the skylight, which staff did their best to fix but caused us issues during our stay. Of course, the hotel cannot stop it raining, but be aware that a room with a skylight is susceptible to a lot of noise when it does, not great at night.

Very friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. The hotel was very well decorated and we liked our room a lot. Breakfast options were generous too.

it was just disappointing on our last morning to hear the staff being shouted at by management as they were all excellent and it is very unprofessional of management.

Large spacious bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, I’d recommend booking it. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Great location on good bus routes or we took a 30 minute walk into town along the river. Lots of parking available.

Nice staff! Gave me a room in the main house due to no shows just so I didn’t have to walk through the rain to the breakfast buffet. Very kind and helpful! Showed me to my room and gave me insights into Oxford.

Toilet wasn’t great flush was broken . Shower was small considering it was in a huge bathroom. And couldn’t really move in it.

Room was in basement and would have been nice with a view, but it was very good apart from that.

The hotel was amazing, from the entrance to the bedrooms it did not disappoint. Really clean - cleanliness is my bugbear so I was very happy to see it was spotless! Whilst the cooked breakfast selection was good, it didn't have much in the way of pastries, and the few they did have were not replenished. Also would have been great if there were pancakes or waffles. The room service menu was the only real let down of the stay. I stayed with my 13 year old daughter and we planned a night of movies and room service but that wasn’t to be. The menu was really poor and bizarrely seemed to heavily feature peas!! None of the usual options of sandwiches, burgers, pizza etc so we had to make a late night dash to a local supermarket. Overall this hotel is fantastic and we’ll stay again, and be prepared for dinner instead of room service.

Bar staff on Friday were not present. It took a number of requests at reception for anyone to appear. And the the lady that appeared was bewildered and didn't listen. On Sunday was similar and the lady who eventually turned up to serve was rude and unhelpful.

The bath was very small During the meal at evening I found the staff fixated on another couple due to the fact they had bought a bottle Of champagne and we had very little attention considering we paid for a meal each and had drinks etc

Bed was the comfiest bed I’ve slept on the bath was a little small Compared to the one in the photo The breakfast was lovely however the bacon was cold apart from that it was faultless

The staff went above and beyond, when there was a problem in the room. He went out his way to sort a new room and even made the beds himself.
