We booked 2 tents to sleep 4 and 3. This had obviously not been computed as we were shown two tents with one double bed each made up which was very disappointing. The other beds were cushions which folded into chairs- inadequate for adults. A blow up bed was offered, which we had to blow up. The bedding was delivered a little later and we had to make the beds up. Wood for the fire (no matches!) also arrived later; so we went (miles) to the shop to buy matches. Later we were offered a lighter. The cooking facilities would have benefitted from having a drying up cloth. One or two plates were dirty.

The location is fabulous. The tents are roomy and attractively decorated. The beds I believe are comfortable, I had the cushions. The showers were hot and plentiful a problem was that the toilet for one tent was not working so 7 people had the use of one toilet.

The host, Anton, was so welcoming and helful; nothing was too much trouble. Very clean, and it was such a peaceful environment. Tents very well spaced apart, and the solar lighting was magical. We would certainy do it again.

Not so much a dislike - but I think a benefit to the site would be perhaps by the toilets to keep a box of “family” toys and outdoor games - giant Jenga, balls etc!

Really enjoyed our stay as a family! Such a peaceful, wonderful spot - comfortable glamping even with an 8yr old and 22month old! Good sized tent, everything you need inside and the eating area (each tent has their own) is a great addition and it meant we could enjoy the outside even when it drizzled! Good cooking facilities also! Toilet/shower/sauna facilities were excellent!! I wish I had time to use the sauna more but with young kids - not that easy! Will definitely return again. Staff really friendly also!

Shower pressure was weak and hot water not very consistent if there are more people using the bathroom at the same time. There were no shampoo provided and we almost didn't bring ours. The location isn't easy to find but we received clear instructions beforehand. Would be great if there are clear road signs. On our way back, we mistakenly turned into a very narrow, bumpy road and faced a dead-end. Took us a while to get the car out and scratched our car along the way due to bad road condition. Could have been avoided with clear signs!

Very beautiful campsite. We arrived late as we underestimated the time needed to get there, so we missed a bit of sunlight. The host Anton was very helpful, he waited for us and explained everything very well. The tent was very cozy, the fireplace was heavenly as the night was unexpectedly cold (30-35 deg during the day). Utensils and basic cookset were available to us, fresh milk too!

We had booked for 2 nights. According to the advert you have a kitchen and private bathroom. On arrival, we were shown communal toilets and bathrooms along with a camping gas stove with hardly any gas in it and a rusty dirty bbq with a dirty picnic set on the outside table. Clearly, there are no hygiene levels at this place. The rude man ordered me to have a lesson on how to use the toilet. The electric was a solar powered box that initially didn't work, when we called him about it he huffed down the phone that we weren't using it properly but it did actually turn out it was faulty. The advert stated 1 double bed and 2 single beds. the single beds were foam fold up mattresses on the floor. Hardly as advertised. We left the next day as I couldn't endure it any longer. I complained to booking.com as I knew I wouldn't get anywhere with the rude owner. They said they couldn't help, I decided to leave it till after I got home a week later, and then I would escalate the complaint further. I then received nasty messages from the owner calling me alsorts, which I have screenshot and will post. All in all, it is a horrendous place advertised as glamping.

    1) the site operations seem a bit disorganised, not the same standard of cooking equipment and hamper basket provided for each of the tent, despite the owner was very friendly and trying to be helpful and delivered items very quickly when asked. 2) The on-site drinking water provided was filled in a green plastic bucket . Our second bucket unfortunately had green algae inside so needs a good clean out. 3) A number of other reviews mention the owners dog being aggressive, stopping shower access etc which we also experienced. Probably less of a concern if you are an experienced dog owner, but a bit scary if you are not. Also, we would have preferred it if the dog mess had been picked up from the more obvious locations. 4) long walk to the shower room/toilet, it is situated on the top of the hill and shared with others, two out of four were broken. There was not any light in the toilet at night. As we were the only campers there for two nights, the family was a bit scared to walked up the hill through long feather grass in the dark on their own. 5) bbq equipment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned and was rusty, not suitable and ready for use.

We booked three nights glamping, it has a stunning landscape with beautiful Star view at night with the right weather. The tent has a good interior with a comfy king size bed, spacious, the fairy lights added additional characters and wood burner kept the tent warm and cozy. Shower/toilet facilities were electric touch control pannel wth modern design. The owner Anton was friendly and conversational, very patient with kid.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a nice stay at all. Please note the place is very remote, and there is absolutely no signage or indicators to the camping site. Following the gps, we ended up in someone's farm. Very narrow roads, almost impossible in places for 2 cars to pass. Would have been ok, had we been given some indications via email before arriving, or any help at all. I rang the owner multiple times, and left a few messages, but got no reply at all. After an hour of waiting for some help, we somehow managed to find the place (only by a miracle!) After a 4 hour long drive to get there..having to wait in the cold was very disheartening. I enquired before if there is anything we should bring, and was told no. For the very reasonable price we paid, we expected to have to pay for extras, such a wood. Etc no problem at all! 1). It is a bell tent and it's autumn, there should be just enough kindling inside ready to start one fire, and a lighter. None of that was there. Eventually found some kindling in the shed and luckily we had brought matches. (Not nice to have to wander the field in darkness, in the cold season.) 2). All 4 tents were occupied, but the wood shed was almost empty ?! Should have been better stocked, or guests be told to bring their own! There's no point in having fancy showers, with bluetooth , if your guests can't find the place, and spend the night feeling cold. We were going to come back to stay longer when work allowed, but sadly won't be returning. Don't recommend staying the fall/winter season or perhaps even at all. :(

The decor was nice, and having plug sockets was a good surprise.

We supposed to have private bathroom but all 5 were shared, 2 toilets out of use, one shower out of use. No lights in bathrooms, candles left but nothing to light them with. No lighting in field to toilets at night, long walk uphill from tent, about 100 yards approx. They advertise shop, it only has jam and logs, candles and gas to buy. Kitchen facilities very poor, we didn't have enough plates and cutlery for our party, this was sorted eventually but they did know how many of us were coming in advance. not enough chairs. One small single camping stove. very wobbly. coffee percolator provided didn't fit. One chopping board you had to use under stove, so couldn't use for food prep. only 1 frying pan, no other pans. no tap for washing up. provided with small water container which you had to fill up near toilets. Just throw dirty water onto field beside tent. Didn't provide enough bedding despite knowing how many were coming. Can't park near tent. We were persuaded to buy boat trip which due to weather wasn't possible, refund refused! Site Not suitable if you have mobility issues.

Tents cute, fire was cosy, double bed comfy with lovely sheets. Lovely fluffy towels and gown.

Private toilet and shower meant it had a lock on door but used by the whole site and quite a distance to walk in middle of night. Tent on slope and so was the bed, so slipped down during the night causing disturbed night. Very eco orientated. Expensive for what was provided then to add on top it is expected for the guest to purchase further wood and gas rather than it be provided.

Area is good. Very pleasant welcome and explanation of facilities. Very clean with lovely duvet.
