Cosy room with everything I needed, in a quiet neighborhood close to the Thames and plenty public transport. Clear and friendly communication. I didn't use the communal kitchen as I was only there for a few days, but good to know it's there for a longer stay.

Nothing we didn't like.

Well equipped, clean, comfortable & convenient. An excellent accommodation option for us - Aged 55+, couple travellers. Area felt safe. Located just off the board walk of the Thames. Great sunset photo opportunities. Greenwich is beautiful - so much to see & do. Located nearer to Woolwich than Greenwich. 7-minute walk to bus stop, that had very regular services. 15-minute walk to train station. Bus 177 from rail station to Warspite Rd. Approximately 1 hour from the centre of London - bus, train, underground options.

what i liked about gamal and sally was through no fault of our's we arrived late at the harlinger lodge, but they waited for us to arrive and welcomed us, they very easy to talk to and as helpfull and obliging as anyone can ask for. After showing us our room and the kitchen and it's facilitie's they left us to settle in. all in allwe totally enjoyed our stay at the ' lodge '

A little snug getting around the far side of the bed, with a wall mounted TV above the corner, so anyone taller/bulkier may struggle. Shower cubicle quite small. It was still ok for us both under 5'7"

We arrived in London earlier than expected and the owner was very accommodating and greeted us earlier and let us into our room, which was very pleasant indeed. We found it to be comfortable and very clean. Wardrobe, fridge and desk provided. Nice bathroom. Quiet location so we had a very peaceful sleep. Very convenient having the shared kitchen and seating area downstairs, with a few hidden treats. We were visiting the O2 and it was a pleasant 2 mile walk along the riverside cycle path with a pub half way. We felt safe enough to walk back in the dark afterwards. Very close to bus tops too. We have stayed at various locations in London previously, and paid far more money for some appalling places. This was great.

The room I stayed in was clean and nice. It’s quite spacious for two person. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in providing amenities and facilities. Even though there’s shared kitchen provided on the first floor, they still have water boiler, toaster, and cutleries in the room to cater my needs. They also have shared washer and dryer.

Unit is a bit far from everything in Central London if that's what you're here to see, but I knew that when I rented the room, and the price/quality is unmatched anywhere closer. If you're sightseeing in London be prepared to be out for the day.

Gamal was great, he reached out prior to my arrival to make sure I had everything I needed to check in. He recommended a more straightforward transit route from Heathrow (Elizabeth Line straight to Woolwich, then local bus), as Google was taking me on an expensive and complicated route. Gamal met me at the unit and showed everything to me when I arrived as well. Room was tastefully furnished and clean. My room had a small kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, few dishes) which was great for making some lighter meals. Instant coffee and tea was also provided. There was a shared kitchen on the entry level, but I didn't make use of that this time. I could hear other guests in the hall from time to time, but other than that everything was very quiet during my stay. Other guests seemed very respectful from that perspective. There's also a rather nice seawall a few steps away. I walked the route along to Woolwich ferry and then up through the market area to get back to the Elizabeth Line, which was a nice alternative to the bus (20-30 minutes walk).

The apartment is located in quiet street in the suburbs, close to the river. The public transport is close and straightforward. The facilities in the lodge are good, with fridge in the room and also in shared kitchen. The host is very nice.

Best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Access to the bus and train was pretty convenient. Gamal was very helpful and went above and beyond to try to make us feel welcome and navigate the European eccentricities. The kitchen made it easy to have quick meals, without relying solely on takeout. Perfect place to relax after a long day of traveling.
