I didn't like the sensor light on the wall in the bedroom that kept getting activated overnight, everytime I kicked the duvet off and back on, very disturbing for someone who has trouble sleeping to start with.

Absolutely nothing. What's not to like.

Shane and I loved everything about this beautiful cottage, from the wood burning stove, the wooden beams, the extra blankets left for us, the gorgeous bedroom, the wonderful bath, the goodies left for us (wine, eggs, which we forgot to eat, croissants and jam), the wooden trunk with games to play, the lighting, the candles, the wildlife, the peace and quiet, the list is endless. See it for yourself, it really is one of the most wonderful home from home. Thankyou for a lovely holiday.

I think it was our third time staying here and we always look forward to it. Can never fault anything, Julia thinks of everything before you’ve even thought of it. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, nice touches like chocolate, a bottle of wine, milk and croissants. It really is a high end luxurious stay. The internet went down at one point for several hours on the second day (caused by storm) the weather prevented us from leaving so we played board games (loads of decent ones in the cottage) - never have we ever done that before together and aside from me flipping the board after I lost, it was such a laugh and created such a core memory - best part of the trip. Thanks so much Julia we hope you will welcome us back next year.

Couldn't fault the cottage.

The property was stunning and beautifully presented. Upon request Julia kindly put a stairgate up for my 3.5 year old. It was the perfect cottage for the 2 of us, as the sofa bed was fine for my daughter. I cooked most nights in the kitchen which had everything I needed utensil wise. The location was great for all the placed we visited and we would definitely come back again.

We loved our stay at Harewood cottage and appreciated the little thoughtful extras (eggs chocolate, wine etc). Easy instructions on how to collect key, very private, spotlessly clean!, plenty of information to hand about the area and recommendations of walks to take. The cottage had everything we needed, and we enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep.

We had a perfect 2 night stay. Cottage was beautiful & immaculately clean. Everything you could possibly need. We used it as a base to visit Alton Towers with our daughter & hope to return in future. Lovely touches included wine on arrival, croissants, jams and fresh eggs for breakfast. Thank you for a great stay !

A couple of cellar spiders but a hoover supplied and we know they’re inevitable with a cottage.

It was exactly as pictured, clean, quaint, private and serene. We loved watching the puddle ducks running back and forth across the owners’ garden and made great use of the garden with a BBQ on day one and a small log fire on day one while it rained. We adored every aspect.
