Accommodation was a little pricey.

Loved the hotel and friendly service. The location was relatively remote as we wanted and still accessible being on a main road that was not too busy.

A bit more attention to cleanliness would make this a perfect place.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and ensured we had an accessible room for my 92 year old Mum. The building is fascinating, warm and comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also great. Breakfast was lovely.

Hotel was lovely. Clean, big, airy room. Bathroom was spotless. Felt very cosy and really enjoyed our weekend here. Ate in the bar on one night and food was delicious, service was great and they were obliging when I requested a specific drink. Breakfast was also brilliant with a lovely selection and a beautiful room.

Can get a fair bit of noise from traffic if you are in a room on the front of the hotel.

Really nice hotel, a 5 min drive out of main Tetbury. The food (dinner and breakfast) were both great in a lovely looking restaurant on site. Staff were all very nice, friendly and professional. Bed was comfy and a nice bathroom with Molten Brown products. Definitely recommended.

All meals were extremely good. Staff were excellent. The dining rooms were very pleasant and extremely well kept.

Honestly, I can't fault anything.

The breakfast was excellent. The room was secluded, with woods behind, perfect for walking the dog. he was made most welcome by all the hotel staff. The dinner menu is good and service was great. my husband is now disabled and we were treated so kindly by everyone.

There was nothing I would change.

I came here to celebrate the marriage of my daughter. It was by far the best day, ever! From the moment we arrived, the wonderful staff ensured our stay was everything we wanted, and more. The ambience is so welcoming. It feels luxurious yet cosy. Relaxed, yet everything is perfect. The staff ensured all the members of the wedding party were looked after. Eliza was magnificent. Her organisation was exceptional, her manner, friendly and attention to detail ensured the day ran without a hitch. Thank you to every single member of the team. You are truly exceptional.

The seats near the radiators in the restaurant are very warm. It is nice to sit near a window to look out, however it was too hot to sit there.

The menu choice and buffet was very good, there was a sufficient range of food. Perhaps some rolls or baguette could be considered to add with the buffet as additional choice and boiled eggs? Menu choice at the Bar and Restaurant: The food was very nice, and the service was excellent. Perhaps more vegetable dishes, like salads could be considered as healthy options?

Grounds could do with a bit of a tidy up. Bathroom could do with a bit of modernisation. Unfortunately there were a few woodlice present in the room - this is an old property and to be expected, it didn't bother me but it could bother some.

Dinner and breakfast excellent. Room warm and spacious. Comfy bed and a good sleep. Excellent service from staff. Good location if you're doing attractions close-by (ie National Arboretum). Got a good deal so excellent value for money. Quality extra touches like good tea and coffee in the room and good toiletries.
