The rooms were clean and tidy, very helpful and friendly staff. Good menu selection and prices were good as well. Breakfast was good and very well served.

It's a crummy joint given what you pay for. Old and not maintained. It literally only has the location going for it. Could be a really nice place if it were maintained. Disappointed but luckily only had to sleep over.

Friday and Saturday, staff were brilliant, helpful warm and friendly. Food excellent. Sunday morning older lady in charge, quite rude and bossy, felt like I was back in school and eggs were undercooked as was the bacon ( plus we didn’t get additional items replaced with items removed from full breakfast as per previous day) but as she was so intimidating we literally filled up on toast ate what we could and left. Other observations- room was for 3 adults but only 2 cups in room and 2 chairs on balcony. Room was really cold and we could not turn radiator on . Slept in bobble hats

The staff were absolutely lovely. Breakfast was delish and the stay was really good value for money. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony, which was fab. They were not doing food, which was fine as we were allowed to eat our chips in the restaurant. Very dog friendly with bowls and biscuits out.

Breakfast table on last day was full of crumbs etc and it looked like the knife, fork with napkin had just been thrown on tge table. No sude plate was set out. I inky got one when i had to ask for toast. Also the premises needs updating, especially leaks from lights and basic room updates

Really nice staff. Food really nice. I must say the first morning I went to breakfast and everything was really clean and the lady that served me was excellent.

The door on the bedroom was ill fitting and you could see the hall light through the gap between the door and the frame.

The food was excellent. There was an excellent choice for breakfast. I chose the full English which was cooked well and to my taste. We had dinner on the evening and I chose a Seafood chowder which was absolutely delicious. Top marks to the chef.

The hotel and rooms could do with a bit of tidying up. Unfrotunatly there was an issue with the kitchen whilst we were there so were unable to have an evening meal which was a shame.

Staff were fantastic, welcoming and worked very hard. Breakfast was fantastic and the service for breakfast was excellent. The location is what really sells the stay for us. The view from the room was something I was not expecting, just wonderful.

There was noise all night outside room 11 from the roof of the kitchen which was underneath our room , think it was an extraction unit, kept us awake, very little sleep, we had to keep the windows open because it was warm in the room,people must have complained about this before but we didn't say anything but would have, if stayed longer.

The property was disappointing, it wasn’t very inviting as you walk in very tatty and tired looking , the bar area wasn’t very nice so we went else where for food and drinks , The hotel could do with a renovation the seaside village is lovely but wouldn’t stay again

Facilities need a bit of an upgrade, soap by the basin, doors made easier to open, an electric point by the bed. All this would have turned my 8 into a 10

Good for Coeliac and Gluten intolerant.guests Comfortable bedroom, lovely big balcony with a great view, super and substantial breakfast with fried gf bread! Helpful staff .Excellent value for the money
