Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe bathroom was dirty floor, shower and toilet looked like they needed a big bleach and clean. Could also hear people in the corridor and outside the building as if they were in the room with you. Bed was really comfortable though and staff where lovely and friendly definitely made me and my partner feel welcome. Shower also didn’t work. I cant judge this hotel 100% as it feels like it might be brand new, would definitely revisit in a year as I feel like maybe improvements would be made by then

United KingdomWe had no hot water and had to shower in freezing cold water. It certainly woke us up! lol. I did report this to a chap as we were leaving the premises and he said he would get it sorted. The only other grumble would be that i asked for a twin room, but was given a double upon arrival. This was quickly sorted, but unfortunatly when we got to the second room, it hadn't been cleaned or made up. So we was then moved onto a third room. Which was lovely and had a much better view. So win win for us really. The only other grumble would be the strong smell of weed lingering around the building. But apart from that everything else was fine and we would stay again.
The beds were very clean and comfy. The room was clean upon arrival. And we loved the sea view, over looking the golf course. I thought the kit kat to go with a cuppa upon arrival was a nice little touch. There was plenty of Coffee, milk and sugar, unfortunatly no teabags though.

United KingdomThere was no handle on one of the windows therefore the window did not close properly. Due to this we had to sleep fully clothed and in our coats as it was so cold. The heating would not turn on. And when arranging at 4:30pm the rooms were not ready and it states the rooms are ready from 3pm onwards. When eventually being able to check in there was dirty linen on the floor outside all of the rooms. Would not stay here again
