Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomGreat location, that’s very close to the train station, large town centre, and overlooking the harbour. Welcoming and friendly owners, clean linen and towels, delicious full breakfast. Yes, the place needs a refurbishment (or at least a deep clean and a few coats of paint), but I knew exactly what I was paying for at the time of booking. So I have no complaints.

United KingdomYou are limited to only four choices for your cooked breakfast. The room and the accommodation in general needs a lick of paint and a deep clean. There were lots of flys in the front porch, which wasn’t pleasant.
Stayed in room 4, which was up 4 flights of stairs. A large double bed and a single bed, both comfortable. Tea and Coffee making facilities, including a coffee machine. Biscuits also provided. Table to eat at, as Breakfast is brought to the room. TV with Netflix. Bathroom was a decent size but the shower cubicle was on the small side. Great view from the window of the harbour, but it didn’t open, we was provided with a fan though. The owners were happy to chill our Prosecco for us and provided glasses, which we felt was very thoughtful. Free parking outside the property.

United KingdomThe entrance hall is off-putting, the limited space taken up by a weird coffee and chocolate vending machine. Couldn’t work out why it was there, with such good coffee machines in the rooms. First impressions would be greatly improved without it. The decor is very dated, and a bit of a facelift would go a long way, but I guess times are tough in hospitality.
Great location with lovely harbour views. Excellent breakfast, served in the room, which sounded strange at first. However, in practice it was beautifully cooked and presented (and piping hot!) Excellent tea/coffee facilities with abundant extras, including cookies. Recycling bin was a great touch.
