Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LithuaniaYou can hear people above walking, had some children running around in the morning that caused a bit of noise. Also, when we came in the trash in the bathroom wasn't taken out - old trash was at the bottom with just a new bag on top. Didn't bother us much but worth mentioning.
The location was in a nice neighborhood, not too far from the city and a coach station. There was a kettle with coffee, tea and milk in the room that we enjoyed. The hotel has a nice design and we had a pleasant stay. It's a great spot for a few nights.

United KingdomI didn’t like the amount of stairs, however this was not an issue as the staff delivered my suitcase to my room, and on leaving brought it down to reception.
The property was clean, the staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The location couldn’t be better

Yes - tiny rooms but everything I needed.

United States of AmericaFront desk was not very friendly. Also our room was on technically the 6th floor with no lift.
We stayed in an attic room. It was very comfortable, honestly large for london’s standards and easy to get to from the Victoria line. Everything was clean and modern (again big plus for London) safe neighborhood, clean, would stay here again.

AustraliaI booked a single room, reasonably well-appointed but tiny! These single 'mezzanine' rooms are located on stair landings, so not a lot of room. A couple of inclusions I would have appreciated had they been provided - 1. a mirror above the point where the blow dryer was wired into and 2. a small microwave to heat a takeaway.
The hotel location was perfect for a few days in London, easy walking distance to Pimlico tube and Victoria coach. Victoria train & tube a little further but easy to walk. It felt quite safe walking alone at night too. While there was no hotel lift, there was a porter available to carry my bags up the stairs and bring them down again when I checked out. An early check-in and a late check-out, also easy to arrange.

United KingdomShould you want to have a drink in the hotel the bar is tiny and served by reception staff (not a bad thing) Breakfast looked very basic. But as stated we never use those facilities
10 minute walk from Victoria station which is one line from Euston and 10 minute walk to Pimlico which is a lovely town with a great Saturday food market. Nicely decorated, comfy beds, great shower. We only use the hotels as a base to sleep, never eat or drink there so can’t comment on those aspects.

This boutique hotel is fantastic for the price and location. The rooms are small but have everything you need and the hotel is very clean, from the rooms to the reception and breakfast areas. We stayed in a room with a quaint and pretty Juliette balcony which was a lovely surprise. I requested a late check out and for a small fee the lady on reception was very accommodating. All in all a great stay and we will back x

PolandThe room was comfortable but very very small. It was even hard to find a place to put a backpack without stepping on it on the way to bathroom. However it had everything that is necessary, so for a 1-2 night stay the size was not problematic.
It was in a great location, the stuff was very nice and helpful and the room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, with soft and nice bed. Luggage storage was availbe.

UkraineThere is no soundproof system, so you can hear your neighbours, we were lucky though to have good ones.
Came for a music festival in Brixton, the location was great for that. 10 mins to Victoria station. The room was not big, but we were prepared for that and it was enough space for a couple. The colours of the walls and furniture were deep green, lovely atmosphere and good quality. Clean. Nice stuff.
