The entrance is not the best I have seen but it is OK. I would have liked to have some drawers in the room for socks, t-shirts and other small clothing.

Excellent central location by the train station. Good breakfast. Clean and tidy. The room was quiet even though the weekend nightlife was just outside the window.

The shower gel, conditioner in our shower didn't work and wasn't much left at all. We always stay here when we come to Newcastle so we don't bring our own wash etc as its nice here so that was disappointing we had to use the shampoo to wash with and having long hair i missed my conditioner. The bathroom floor didn't look like it had been mopped or the carpet hoovered or hoovered well. One lift out of order but that can't be helped. Price of two lemonades and two Mars bars at the bar £10! Next time we'll pop out to the shop.

It was my sons birthday and i called ahead and bought him some crisps, chocolate and cans of pop to be put in the room. The lady was very helpful and made up a wonderful happy birthday box for my son it really felt special and was very kind. Breakfast was good, I would have preferred fried eggs but it was no problem.

There is no bottled water provided (not sure if this is the norm), also the pillows were too thin.

The property is situated centrally, just short distance to the train station, shops, restaurants and pubs. Tea and coffee provided in the room

BEING WOKEN UP AT 7.30AM BY BOTTLES BEING EMPTIED!!!! That was not a good start and when I mentioned it, I was told I was lucky it was that late as usually earlier! Not happy. The light around the bathroom mirror wasn't working either which made it very dark. Building works currently going on inside so lots of mess.

Really good location but no parking on site. Parking is around 8-10 min walk away. Breakfast was really good. Rooms were really nice

The security could be a little better as anyone can walk in off the street and access any floor and reception is on the 2nd floor. Maybe your keycard could be utilised at the door and in the lift.

Location brilliant as just opposite train and metro station. Room was very spacious and toiletries very good.

Bed was really hard. Couldn’t get comfortable and the AC didn’t really work. The room was boiling so we turned on the cold AC and didn’t feel much difference. The iron in the room didn’t work and the tv only had 3 channels

Not didn't like as such but would be good if reception could advise about discount parking as I stayed two weeks prior as was unaware of this. It's not much but probably useful to advise people when checking in. Otherwise couldn't fault anything and reception were very pleasant

Air con/heating didn't seem to work properly. I found my bed and pillow up there with the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced. Other guest thought bed and pillows ok. Breakfast OK, very attentive staff for cleaning up. Coffee too bitter for me. Could hear some noise from main street.

Excellent size rooms and beds and location. Like check out times and luggage storage. Room felt secure.
