The carpets need updating, and windows need a clean. The lift needs to be looked at as one was not working and the other one was on the brink of breaking down. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday so we had a few items to take on the 3rd floor which was a bit annoying because of the lift.

I did not like waiting 70-minutes for the room to be cleaned when we arrived. I also did not like the duty managers total inability to deal with the situation…. The room could have been cleaner…. It was quite dusty and there were bits on the carpet. The breakfast was poor quality and not very hot.

The elevators weren’t functioning properly. One wasn’t working upon arrival, causing queues. And there were no stairs available for use. I also didn’t understand why our room change wasn’t updated on the system. Each time we went out and returned, the key card wouldn’t open the door, causing us to go back downstairs to sort it out.

The location was a good distance from the town centre and the pleasure beach. I loved the view from the room. We could see the sunset on the beach. It was absolutely beautiful.

£17 a day to park, if you can’t park for free! No toilet brush in the room, which I know is quite standard nowadays but I don’t think is good, the bathroom door lock didn’t work and the shaver plug in the bathroom was unusable.

The passageway carpets could do with a shampoo. The lifts kept going out of service on the two days we were there. The reception and bar area need more staff to avoid queues. The carpark is overpriced at £17 a night. You can park for free outside or very nearby.

It was worth paying extra for the sea view.. breakfast had a good choice of food.

There was a problem with the lifts by Sunday night both were broken as quick as they were repaired there were problems again. Whilst the dining tables were quickly cleared and cleaned nobody swept around the tables if you ate later breakfast parts of the floor were covered in dropped food. Maybe need to look at whether adults should be in dining room wearing nightwear!! Not very sociable or clean.

We used this chain before in York so decided to use it again. The staff were very friendly and efficient especially the room cleaning staff who work very hard. The food at breakfast was hot and quickly refilled the rooms were very comfortable. It was near the train station and tram stop.

Tiles on the bathroom floor were loose and could have cut your feet. The room was very warm and couldn't open a window we did have air conditioning but it wasn't working

Great location for the pleasure beach a 10 minute walk. Nice and clean rooms.food from the restaurant was value for money. Breakfast was nice and plenty of options

Room only has 4 coat hangers and no were to put clothing . First morning of breakfast was appalling, ran out of everything for breakfast .can understand it was busy but surely you know how many guests you have staying . Asking staff when things would be replenished totally got ignored . There was very little staff on duty . The 2nd day was ran better .

Hotel was good , but not as good as other Hampton hotels that I've stayed in .
