Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomStruggle to find anything negative but I guess beds a little on soft side. Could have done with some wooden spoons for cooking but otherwise kitchen really well resourced.
Location and facilities were very good. Views were beautiful and lovely to have space to eat outside. Enjoyed watching the birdlife and coming across deer, whilst on short walk down to the rocky shore.

The very scenic rural location and so quite you can hear the deer stags roaring after dark! The hot water came through nice and quickly and the heaters were very effective I choose this property because they wanted the money just one week beforehand instead of the usual one month

A lovely cottage with some beautiful views. It was a really spacious place to stay, with comfy beds and really comfy sofas in the living room too. Everything was well-equipped for self catering and instructions for check-in were easy to follow. Would love to stay again sometime.
