Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I really liked the hotel. Of course, thanks for the double upgrade rooms! The room was great. The beds seemed soft at first, but it turned out that they sleep very well. The breakfast is exquisite. A very good location. The staff is polite and attentive.

GermanyThere is no buffet for the breakfast which I didn't like. I didn't have any interactions with other guests as they were all very busy or concentrated on themselves. Although I paid the service fees while booking the room, the daily service fees were added to my last invoice. I had all of them remove and gave the tips I wanted to.
I stayed at the hotel in the mid of March 2024. The room was really nice, I have been updated before I even asked for it. The area is calm and I could join many tourists attractions very easily. The tourist bus stop is right at the corner. The breakfast is served thru 11:00 am, you can order what you want for breakfast. I enjoyed the mango juice. The restaurant also serves great food and I like the Ginger tea. The room is cleaned up every day. The service makes many rounds during the day through the rooms to make sure everything is fine, empty the garbage bin, air the room, close the curtains. The water pression is good, the heating and the AC work perfectly. The Shambhala bathroom amenities have a very strong smell. I had some issues with my computer, 1 IT-employee came to my room and had it fixed. Once again many times for helping me out.

United StatesIf any improvement is possible, the bathroom needs a makeup/vanity specific mirror and better/more controlled lighting. Also maybe an outlet for the hairdryer. I used the one in the bedroom. Breakfast staff was excellent the first day and mostly absent the second day.
I loved my room on the 5th floor. Beautiful natural light & high ceilings. The quietness of the room and neighborhood was much appreciated. The staff was very accommodating upon arrival & departure.

United KingdomThe only thing that left a bit of a bad taste for us was the hidden extra service charge that was put on our bill at the end. For a place that felt so client focused when we were there, we were left wondering whether this was overridden by personal gain.
Everything was thought of for a comfortable and welcoming stay. The welcome drinks and cakes were a nice touch. As was the friendly and personable service. The quietness of the room was lovely, even right next to the lift. Breakfast was superb. The location was fabulous.

United KingdomFrom the moment we walked in, felt completely looked after, lots of little touches, that were not expected, like a welcome drink and complimentary nibbles in the bar in the evening before we headed off to our event. Nothing was a problem, all the staff were so nice and welcoming and breakfast the next morning was very chilled and food was delicious. Have already recommended to friends.
