I think the shower was leaking when it was turned on. I sometimes felt drafts from the windows.

Everything was great, i think the option for a full english breakfast would be ideal but there’s plenty of nearby restaurants who offer this so definitely not an issue.

Very comfortable, staff are lovely. the rooms are beautiful, clean and you’re provided with all that you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if coming back to the lake district.

Tim and Cathy were the warmest hosts. Their home was cozy and clean, and our room was stocked with everything we could need. Even though we got late checking-in (we arrived at 11:30PM), Tim was very accommodating and stayed up late to welcome us! I was sure to keep him updated about our ETA, and it was super easy to get in touch with him. Tim and Cathy were so kind (and funny) and always chatted with us, giving us suggestions about what to see/where to go/what to eat. I am a big fan of the hosts, and cannot recommend Haisthorpe House enough. If you are going to Windamere, you have to stay here- the comfortable home, cheerful hosts, and perfect location will make your trip extra special.

Guest House is immaculately clean and the hosts are so welcoming. It’s in an ideal location for Windermere and also an easy walk to Bowness. Breakfast is was delicious and great value for money. We would definitely stay here again.

Of all the lovely B&B’s I have stayed at, this is my favourite. The owners are delightful- welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, great communication and want to make sure that you are comfortable. The room was really clean and comfortable and had thoughtful added details to make sure that your stay is great… even down to the phone charging ports beside the bed. The location is central to everything. The train is a short walk away, as are buses to other tourist locations. Numerous restaurants are also a short walk away.

Everything. Lovely Victorian House built in 1897 with some original futures still in place. Very clean, comfortable and cozy throughout. In the morning you can enjoy fresh, homemade and a very tasty breakfast prepared by Cathy and Tim, who are the owners of this amazing Guesthouse. Thank you Cathy and Tim! We had an amazing time and thank you for having us. :-)

Tim and Cathy were really nice and welcoming with us. The breaksfast made by them was really simple but super tasty and locally sourced (home made marmalade was divine). Room was nice, it was tini but modern, especially the bathroom.
