The whole place was spotless. The owners were so friendly which added to the expierience. The room was spacious with a great view and balcony. Breakfast was light and tasty and again service was amazing. Can't fault the place at all.

There was nothing to dislike.

Everything about the room was spotlessly clean. The bed, the carpet, the shower, curtains and blinds, everything. The people couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. And the breakfast menu offered several unexpected choices, including Eggs Benedict. This is a guest house with a touch of class.

The free car park round the back is so full of potholes I seriously worried for my cars tyres and suspension. However there is in road parking if you can get a space.

Absolutely gorgeous guesthouse, Frankie is so welcoming and kind. Room was excellent, everything I needed plus some lovely little extras I wasn't expecting but really enhanced the stay. Wish I'd stayed for longer, but will definitelybe back. Highly Recommended!,

Can’t fault anything A wonderful home from home

The Hosts were exceptionally friendly and informative. We were given a balcony view of the sea which was not booked. The room was clean and spacious with gorgeous bath products such as the handwash. Shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was amazing and satisfying. We were made to feel very welcome and a home from home experience. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to anyone. Well done Buzz and Jo.

It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well presented. In a good location in the nicer part of town. A 20 min walk to the pier. Great staff, delicious breakfast.

If you're looking for a home away from home...this is the place. You will find beautifully decorated rooms that are comfortable and very clean. Our room had a balcony with a sea view so we had the pleasure of enjoying some bubbly whilst looking out over the the sea and an early morning chilling in bed with the sea breeze flowing in. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Some lovely little extra touches like bottles by the front door so you can help yourself to cold water from the water cooler when you need and a Happy Birthday sign was placed above the bed when I mentioned that it was my birthday :) And what makes all this perfection possible....? Our hosts, Buzz and Jo, were so friendly and welcoming and we felt like they couldn't do enough to make your stay perfect. And to top it all off, they are across the road from a lovely beach (Thorpe Bay) and only about a 20min walk into the town centre and Southend pier. We will definitely be back :)

Nothing everything was perfect staying there.

The room was very clean, you have a very good choice of breakfast. Buzz and Jo makes you feel very welcome, they are both very friendly polite and helpful, I Fully Recommend the Beaches Guest House.
