There was nothing not to like.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The staff were all amazing, the breakfast was excellent - best omlet I've had outside of my versions. The room was very comfortable and very clean! Had a fabulous view of the sea as I sat on the balcony watching the world go by. We would definitely go back.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming surroundings, and attention to detail that would suppass a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and served with true sincerity. We would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be going back.

Lovely, clean place, good location. We had a room with a sea view balcony, awesome. Breakfast was delicious and enough viaraty for everyone. Had a good rest in a comfortable bed. Thanks to all staff 🙌 very friendly. We will definitely return there. 😀😀😀

Absolutely amazing stay. Buzz and Jo couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely, bright and clean. Breakfast was delicious. They provided lots of information about where to go for food and entertainment etc. We will definitely be returning.

Although the breakfast provided was delicious, we were a little disappointed that a full English breakfast was not offered. We were woken by other boarders during the early hours, but wasn’t an issue, although we could hear someone snoring!!

The guest house was spotless and very fresh and new. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. There was drinks and snacks available that the hosts trusted us to pay for later, all we had to do was write what we’d taken into a book. The room offered tea and coffee facilities with biscuits provided. The en-suite shower room was well stocked with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand wash and hand lotion. Free Wi-Fi also available in the room. Breakfast was delicious with fruit, cereal, orange juice, tea and coffee and some cooked items were available.

You instantly warm to Jo and buzz on meeting them. So relaxed. Anything you needed was not a problem. Anything you wanted, just ask. Breakfast was good. It's better than a cooked breakfast, which we don't really do every day anyway. Very accommodating with my needs. Always stayed in hotels and was overwhelmed by the fact that in beaches you get more than a hotel. It's carefully thought out to meet people's needs and then some. Little things like facial cloth If you use makeup. Large shampoo / conditioner hand wash, etc. More milk portions, tea, etc, than you get in a hotel. Beautiful decor. Spotlessly clean. Absolutely spotless. I usually clean when I arrive in hotels. Didn't have to do anything that had never happened. They have drinks and snacks you can buy if you want to. Beautiful garden out back. So relaxed. It really had a warm aura to it We are coming back without a doubt. I know southend well. So you have buses. Trains get you about. The seafront is opposite, and lots going on up at the pier. Adventure island. High Street has all the shops you need. Chinese next door, which is excellent You go in as a stranger, and you really don't want to leave. This is more than a guest house. We usually stay in a hotel in southend, costing much much more. We won't be anymore. It was such a good holiday. Thank you to everyone who made that possible

Can't think of anything we didn't like even though at first we felt disappointed that there was no English traditional breakfast, however we were more than satisfied with our egg Benedict, pastries and yogurt and the nice little touch of fruit at the start.

Even though we booked a back garden view room we found the room cosy and relaxing. Our son and his girlfriend had the room in front of ours with seaview and balcony and that was lovely but still me and hubby loved our room. Found the detail to the bathroom, liquid soap, shower gel and all other toiletries to be an added luxury as they were of a high standard. The breakfast was exceptional all items freshly made and very well presented.
