We checked in a few hours earlier than expected and there was no one at the reception. We had instructions sent to us prior to the visit, so we were able to get in and find our room. However, I wasn't able to greet the hosts

The location was the best - not so close to the beach that we get buffeted by sand, but not too far. Rates are excellent for the location and the hosts are friendly and attentative. The other visitors are also friendly.

For me personally it was the spiral staircase which I found a bit difficult because of my hip replacements when taking the luggage upstairs.But othewise all was ok.

The breakfasts were very good .The requests we asked for were immediately responded to ie special bread .The staff were excellent in considering our needs.

The room was very good everything you need for a few nights stay also very clean. The breakfast was adequate and the staff very obliging and friendly.

Nothing you could complain about, although due to location we did have a little disturbance from the park adjacent and a road sweeping lorry and refuse collection woke us very early every morning, but this was because the room was hot and we had to leave the window open.

Breakfast was great, first time I had to pre order the night before but worked well as the food was delivered to the table hot and freshly made eggs. Loved the fact there was no waste and you were always asked if you would like more. Host and staff very welcoming. Excellent value for money. Great location for all amenities, attractions, beach, shops and bars/restaurants.

Unfortunately, breakfast was cancelled, due to an appliance breakdown. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable & the decor was a little dated/tired.

The location was excellent & the staff were friendly. It was ideal to have parking on site with the property being so central.

Good sized room. Friendly owner and staff. Breakfast was very good. The local Cabot Hotel is a seaside gem.

Unfortunately on our second day the cooker died meaning there was no breakfast. we were reimbursed £5. Meaning that a breakfast at the hotel costs £2.50. A little short I thought as breakfast in town averaged £7 and you can’t even get a sandwich in town for £2.5.

Ideally located a short walk from the beach and main shopping area. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Room came with a very large flatscreen tv, your usual amenities and a stand up fan that was blessing.

Me and my friend had a lovely couple of nights here, the room was nice and had everything you needed. The squeaky bed was the only negative. The host was fantastic, so welcoming and accommodated my dietary requirements by going out and getting me oat milk and vegan sausages, which was highly appreciated. Breakfast was very nice and was made fresh and hot. Would definitely stay again.

The only minor thing was nighttime noise if window was open but it did settle and didn’t keep us awake. I would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

The Property was in an excellent location. The family room (room 4) was nice and spacious. The owner was lovely as were the other staff, very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and the food was hot. Also close to a beautiful park.

There is nothing not to like .

The guest house was beautiful and very clean, the room was amazing and large lovely en-suite, 20 mins from the beach would highly recommend this guest house I’m hoping to go again next year . The two ladies that work there are very very nice.

If we had to say anything we didn't like, the only issue we had was the stairs! They're very narrow with a sharp turn, and there is no lift. Not a major problem for us but worth noting for anyone who might find this difficult.

A warm welcome and a clean and comfortable room. Such a cosy place, we felt like we were staying with family. The dining area is lovely, as is the breakfast. It's close to amenities - shops, bars, restaurants, Grove Park, and a short walk to the beach.
